  1. He didn't bring his son to an OK HS. He was worried about the partners in OK. He knew that he had some hammers for his son to roll with back in Ohio.
  2. He sold OU some real snake oil! I hope Hofstra wouldn't fall for that.
  3. What about Lou Roselli? He is a New Yorker (not from Long Island). Maybe he could rebuild the program. He bad mouthed the HS Wrestling in Oklahoma and wasn't able to attract the top Okies. Maybe he could turn it on at Hofstra.
  4. You never know, you might get Bono over there to rebuild the program!
  5. Where else have you seen a circle that is 62'X62'?
  6. It was Kurdelmeier's idea. He was sitting in a coffee shop with Mike Nary who was the owner of Quality Mat Company and they came up with the idea and then set the ball into motion.
  7. After Iowa Coach Gary Kurdelmeier used Big Bertha (1977) which was a 62'X62' mat. This mat was built because Okie State had a "style" of backing up, backing up, backing up, and then shooting. So Kurdelmeier wanted to keep those Okies away from the oob line, and wrestle! So it appears that this is not a new problem! The NCAA received several complaints and they put a restriction on how big a mat could be. They claimed that not all schools could afford to have such a big mat.
  8. 149-Isaiah Delgado UVU is out. He got a MRSA infection and his season and career are over. A sad turn of events.
  9. I have wrestled on the 10' red/green lines and the square. You think we have issues about what is in and what is out now, go back to the square lines! lol
  10. Would that mean that we have to officially switch over to the metric system?
  11. Was that back when the red & green lines were in the 10' circle and when the wrestling area was a square, not in a circle?
  12. Taylor Walsh? He is a Jersey guy.
  13. I'm glad you had your decoder ring on and were able to get it without calling out my spelling error lol
  14. The only way to get them to "care" would be if their job depended on it, or keeping the site current made them money.
  15. I don't see how the juice is worth the squeeze. But we will continue to hear his name pop up whenever a team starts to hit the skids.
  16. Plus he would have people like us being nit picky on everything he does, just like they did with Barry Davis! Remember how bent the Wiscy people got when he got black mats?! Lol
  17. So how long does OU give Kish to rebuild? Yes, they are not an Ivy league school, but is he getting the recruits? I know that DJ Parker (184 and followed Kish from NDSU) will be back next year.
  18. I am a proponent of the top 3 D2/D3/NAIA guys being allowed to go the D1 natys, but now I think they would get lured away to a bigger school with NIL money.
  19. This is isn't recent history, but Rulon Gardner and TJ Williams both went to a JUCO.
  20. The starter at 133 was recently in a fight where a guy threw a bong at him. The details were cloudy at first, but he had some lacerations and what appeared to be puncture wounds. Reports were unclear if he was going to return for the remainder of the season and I stopped following the story. The kid is tough and has been having a great season. I hope he gets better soon, as he is entertaining to watch.
  21. Plus we just found out that the kids at Mizzou don't let the bong water get stagnet
  22. Does that mean that his wife no longer wants to see him at home?
  23. Probably went over as good as the time I asked my wife if she had been doing "busy work" all day?
