    It was the perfect time to leave. There were issues and John wanted him to cut down to 126 and TJ wanted to be at 134. On his way out, John told him that he would never win at that weight or at any other school! Pat did redshirt that year.

    @1032004 Yes grayshirting! That was the word I was looking for but I had a brain fart instead. Nice kid and was set on those 3 programs. When we were talking, I mentioned that there are other schools looking for a 125lber and that one school in particular with a plaid mat (I still believe that is the coolest D1 mat) even had a kid a few years ago that built similar to Hendrickson. He just smiled and said that he had narrowed down his options to those 3 choices. I wish him all the best!

    Hendrickson did spend some time in Minnesota when he was looking for a home. It might be hard to believe, but he wasn't heavily recruited out of HS. So he spent some time in Minnesota and then spent some time with Kish. For a while, right after Kish took the OU job, he was considering Minnesota, North Dakota State, and Oklahoma.

    I read somewhere that Toledo is talking about bringing back the program. Is there some real work going on there? By that, I don't mean a club team.

    What about Kent State? They just lost to Gannon. I am not up to date with D2, but I don't think they are a Central State (aka University of Central Oklahoma for the youngsters). They haven't been producing the AA's that they were. That also doesn't help any of the MAC programs that might be in trouble or even thinking of bringing back the program. Kent read, Kent write, Kent State.

    All of the Mizzou fans should be happy about Kade Moore. That kid is solid with a few funky things up his sleeve. He will push for bonus points once he gets his college sea legs under him. Great pick up.

    TJ was a hammer! Didn't he only lose 1 match his freshmen year at Lassen? He is a great guy and runs a great camp too.

    That sounds good. Will Frank Popolizio create another tournament for this season to test out this theory? He definitely knows how to create a great tournament.
