La Quinta in English means next to Denny's

It is BOTH!

No it is not wrestling. It is the F word (football).

As Casey Kasem would say "And the hits just keep on coming! Up 2 spots, 'I am tired of coaching for a ho-hum institution! Hello Penn State!'"

Thank you for sharing. I had never heard of that.

So they were formally placed on probation? Or whatever the NCAA called it back then?

When did Gable break the scholarship limit? What is your source?

In all honesty, who would want to take job after Brands? If you don't win like Gable did, the fans will let you know about it! The Iowa fans have been spoiled, and now they expect it. I am hoping they get a refund on any NIL money they gave Bailey. I thought it was a double no-no to go get him. You have an Illinois kid that went to college in Arkansas?!

Boy ain't that the truth!

No he didn't. It continued in college. The first time I saw him do that, I thought he really rolled his ankle.

Michigan has voiced concerns over the private equity deal the Big Ten is wanting to enter into. They have also mentioned leaving the Big Ten and being an Independent like Notre Dame. Would that just be for fb? What are some of the other things to consider if they go Independent?

Interesting. If I remember correctly, PSU beat Illinois in Huff Hall just last season. It was also the 4th highest attended in Huff Hall history at 2,136. I heard about the plans to build something new (Huff Hall has to be 100 years old) but those plans stalled.

Huff Hall

It is worse than the facilities at Illinois?

You're right! PA kids have been going to Iowa and Okie State for YEARS before Cael went to PSU.

GOOD ONE! And we don't have the reactions!

It will be interesting to see how he does for the remainder of the season. I have heard a lot of talk about how "This isn't the 80's, there is a huge difference between D1 & D3!" If he has a great season, then we could see other D3 & D2 transfers. If he does not have a great season then we might not see many other D3 & D2 transfers, in the near future.

I wish the HS coaches would add more duals to their schedules!

Okie State has had a reputation for pulling a lot of weight. They have lost a lot kids because of that. TJ Jaworsky was a big name they lost. He was a 4X Okie HS State Champ, went to Okie State & then transferred to the University of North Carolina and won a few matches and 3 NCAA titles. Jerry Best is another big name that comes to mind. He was a 4X undefeated OK HS Champ. He went to OSU, didn't want to cut the drastic amount required of him, so he transferred to Central State (now UCO) and won 3 D2 NCAA titles.

How was his relationship with Poeta?

Thank you

What is Lou doing now?

I like Lou and thought he would have had a better time at Oklahoma.

Ok, I am in the back of the room and didn't hear it. Please tell us again.

Thank you. I remember when our options greatly expanded. I never thought I would say "those were the days!"
