    JW is probably enjoying some of the best bbq in Arkansas at the Whole Hog Cafe (original location) which is close to campus. It is sooo good! I highly recommend it!

    When the NCAAs were in OKC I got tickets from scalpers in front of the door for $20 & less. No, I didn't look at where they were located as we moved around. We did get tickets for the Finals for $20 and they were decent seats.

    The "experts" promised that with the 2 piece uniform we would be mainstream! Still waiting....

    A friend of mine was coaching a D3 program when the NFHS approved the use of the 2 piece uniform. His AD heard about it and quickly alerted the coach that he was not spending more money on uniforms (they just bought 40 new singlets the season prior). The next day about of his incoming recruits called him to tell him that they had "earned" the right to wear a singlet, and if he went with the 2 piece uniform, they would go to a different school. As @Idahoput it, SINGLETS FOR THE WIN!

    I just expected more out of IL.

    It's about this time of year where we start hearing all of the IL excuses. "We don't have the staff, we don't have the recruits, we don't have the facilities", and etc.... I thought they had a shot this year to turn things around, but it doesn't look that way.

    Thank you to the 3 folks that were nice enough not roast me to the utmost for making a mistake. Great responses too! Now that I know Barry is no longer there, I better read up on the other things wrong with the Wiscy program.

    It seems like nothing great will change for Wicy wrestling until Alverez retires.

    Iowa had the same type of roster in the early 80's. Several guys could have started immediately and become AAs, if they would have transferred to another school.

    My kid wore an Ohio State headgear his freshman year of HS and in January a ref dinged him for it.

    Most coaches that lose someone to a better team complain about tampering by the new team.

    I was just explaining that to some club kids. They were digging how low cut the singlets were.
