  3. 1. He is not technically a convicted felon. That happens at sentencing. He has not been sentenced. Therefore he legally is not a convicted felon. 2. His court case will be thrown out as there were no specific allegations against him for anything he did wrong. The 33 allegations read similar to as follows: "He cooked the books in furtherance of some other crime." The first item was a misdemeanor not allowed to be prosecuted due the statute of limitations. And the second item is supposed to be what makes this a felony. Please point out the specific felony indicated. Right and the appellate court won't be able to either. This case will be dismissed as it should never have been brought in the first place. mspart
  4. I don't watch NFL so I guess I'm not part of the demographic they are going for. So probably not. mspart

  7. With the above, does anyone honestly think that Trump is going to jail for the NY case? Yes, the one with no specific crime alleged? Yes, the one that the judge said if you think he did one of 3 things it will count as long as all of you think he did something? Has there ever been a similar case ever in the history of the republic where misdemeanor charges were cooked to become felony charges and said charges were allowed to languish until they were past the statute of limitations because they couldn't be prosecuted? That is the one he is going to jail for? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! mspart

  15. When Kimmel pointed it out, Walz was truly embarrassed. I saw that clip. Knucklehead is an apt descriptor. mspart

  20. That's why we have an initiative on the Nov ballot to rescind the carbon tax. It is a tax on gas, diesel, natural gas, electricity made from natural gas, food harvested and planted with machines that run on diesel, food trucked in by trucks running on diesel, the list goes on and on. The oil companies must bid on credits and then pass along the cost to the rate payer, me!! The natural gas is the same. The government lied and said it would be nothing, mere pennies. yeah, up to 50 pennies. mspart
  21. We have that tax here in WA, and it is up for deletion via initiative. The carbon tax adds 50 cents to a gallon of gas, which is why we have the next to highest gas prices i tnhe nation. The money collected does not go to roads but to special interest groups, that may or may not do anything about CO2 in the atmosphere. Not only that, but they do not monitor how well the law is doing at reducing CO2. It's almost as if it were a giant money grab with no real concern about CO2 levels at all. mspart
  22. These last two posts have me confused. Is he going or not? It just isn't clear to me. mspart
  23. Having wrestling in a stadium is not ideal. Crowd is too far from the action. Minny had it in the Target Center back in the 90's and that was pretty good. We had great seats. I'm still pulling for Corvallis!! mspart
  24. Boy WR, this is looking really serious. Best of luck there. mspart
