Well, Edmonton put up a good fight after being down so low. I heard they are only one of a handful of teams that forced a game 7 after being beaten so bad in the beginning. Florida does not deserve hockey in my opinion. There is no natural reason anyone would play hockey in FL. There is an ice rink outside of Honolulu where they do some hockey. I think it goes without saying that we should be good stewards of the environment. We should try to move to better and less polluting energy. Nuclear does not pollute the air but its waste lasts thousands of years. That can work but we need something better. Wind and Solar take too much out of the earth to be carbon neutral both in manufacturing and disposal. Plus they are not reliable methods to produce energy. Dams are good and reliable but do affect the landscape and salmon out here are affected negatively. They seem to manage but salmon stocks are reducing. Hydrogen power is good and reliable. From Fusion to fuel cells, hydrogen is a good option and it is plentiful. And with fusion we get helium for our balloons. Who doesn't want helium for their balloons? Fusion is non polluting. But dangerous with extreme temps that melt everything. mspart

The concern is that you have minors saying they are trans and getting anti puberty drugs which sterilize, surgery which changes things about the body for life. Are minors really emotionally mature enough to make these decisions? If you think so, then it should be legal for them to drink, drive, pay their own way, vote, and buy guns. Yes you are wrong. How does this affect me? It is taxation without representation. Someone has to pay for all of this and the constitution says the legislative branch must pass a bill if it is to become a law. That has not happened. Why do I care? I care because Biden is actively trying to make the constitution irrelevant. That goes against my interests as a US Citizen. The person in charge of fixing a problem has to show leadership and get the legislature to agree and pass a bill. It is called being a statesman. Instead, Biden just does it like a dictator. Why is it not bad with Biden but oh so bad with Trump? You want to keep a known dictator in power and keep an ex President who never acted like a dictator. You should really look at this more carefully. It doesn't matter if a bill that was scuttled could do a better job or not. It is not right, legal, or constitutional for a President to legislate law which is what Biden is doing. If you are ok with that, you better be ok with whoever does it. It's helped here in the PNW. We are cool today and yesterday. Temps were up into the low 80's fri and sat. That map above is kind of funny. We are just having weather. East coast is having global warming. My wife is headed to Boston and NH and is concerned about the heat wave. Temps the next week will peak at 88F. Highs this week will be in high 70s and low 80s for the most part. That's unbelievably hot. But its a wet heat so its worse. Yeah, I lived in MN when it was 95F and 1000000% humidity.
