Old enough to put their life on the line for their country. I just read an incredible story of a 12-year-old named Calvin Leon Graham. He enlisted in the Navy right after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1942. To enlist, he lied about his age' forged his mother's signature and used a stolen notary stamp. He looked much older than is age. He was assigned to the USS south Dakota. Within 2 months he was in the battle of Santa Cruz Islands. A month later he was the Battle of the Solomons. He took shrapnel to the face , fell 3 decks yet he continued to fight as a loader for a 40mm anti-aircraft gun. Through the night he aided in helping the other wounded with tourniquets and general first aide. Half of his fellow soldiers were killed. For his actions he was awarded the bronze star and a Purple Heart and a second Navy Unit Commendation. They still did not know he was 12. You can probably look up his name and read more about him. I saw the story in Backwoods Home magazine.

So, wouldn't it be fair to say that their purpose would be to make sure the candidate that they ( the powers that be) support gets the nomination. Isn't like an insurance policy?

You are well informed and intelligent Can you explain why the Democrats have Super Delegates? Why not just use the representative delegates from each state?

Why do they have primary's then to select the nominee? Isn't that the voice of the people speaking. But if you look at the Democrats they don't trust their own voters so they have SUPER DELEGATES just in case.

I just find it laughable the Democrats who are crying "Trump will end Democracy, Trump will end are Democracy". Then the Democrats absolutely destroy democracy by hand selecting Kamala for the Democrat nominee for President. There isn't one democrat voter or independent voter that voted for her to be the nominee. But in the long run it was better to be hypocritical than to have a total Jerry Springer moment at the DNC Convention. It would have not gone well.

Pelosi gave him 3 weeks to step down or we will force you out. Please do a little research. The big donors were cutting off the money to his campaign if he did not step down. All the media outlets had been reporting this. Many of the donors had already turned off the money.

She was given an ultimatum. Resign or you will be fired. Where is the integrity in that?

For 9 days she had not given any information out to Congress or the Senate. An attempted assassination of A former President. Just by a fraction of an inch President Trump is alive. One father is dead and 2 others are still recovering in the hospital. She did not inform them or the American Public with updates of the details of the ongoing investigation. Inexcusable.

She was given an ultimatum resign or you will fired. Where is the integrity in that. Did you not see her yesterday in front of congress. She said over and over again she was not going to step down. That was 20 hours ago.

This took way too long. She should have been fired. Her performance yesterday in front of congress was unforgiveable.

No. But this is Washington D.C. You can't get fired. Many times they are just reassigned to a different position.

Joe was forced out. He was given the ultimatum step down or we will do this the hard way. The Democrat leaders new there was no path to victory with Joe. The Democrat leaders had to force him out because all of the down ballots in the Senate and the Congress were being affected, plus all the donor money was drying up. With Biden they could lose all 3. The Presidency, The Senate and the Congress. I'm not sure being forced out is being very heroic.

Israel has had cockpit doors that are secured for decades. AS far as securing sights maybe the zone should be extended out as far as necessary to protect president. Maybe put snipers on all buildings or at least agents or police on them. Maybe have arial security . Drones and helicopters. This job is ZERO fail. You don't get a do over when you screw up. Protocol should be shoot first if someone has a weapon on a roof. I believe he got off 8 shots before the sniper killed him. There was a slight cross wind blowing that the shooter did not take into consideration because he was inexperienced. That was very fortunate for President Trump. Had he been an experienced sniper Trump would have been dead. You can tell by the flag being flown overhead that there was a crosswind.

The director is getting blasted by all the congressman from both parties. She is being very evasive. Al of them are calling for her to resign.

My feelings are fine. I would think as a moderator you might want to choose your words more wisely. Calling people foolish names seems unbecoming of a person in your position.

I find your language on here appalling. Just because someone has a different viewpoint then you on a certain subject on this forum does not make them a racist, homophone or an inbred hillbilly.
