  1. Very nice car. Is it a 1972 Pontiac Lemans. One of the guys on my wrestling team showed up to campus with a Pontiac GTO the Judge. I showed up with my 1965 Chevy pickup truck.
  2. This is a joke. Right? The only way you could believe that is that you live in a cave with no access to any source of information from the outside world. You would also have to be blind.
  3. So, in the end there is no feasible solution to ever fixing this problem. The colleges will never lower there prices and the federal government (the taxpayer) will always continue bank rolling the loans with little or no restrictions. I think in the last go around 5.3 million borrowers received 188.8 billion dollars of loan forgiveness.
  4. If I was a bank loaning in the money i would require up to date data (every 2 weeks) on the grades and students progress in general. It would all be in the loan agreement. I would also require a co-signer on all loans.
  5. So, the students who have been grown adults since they turned 18. Why did they decide to go to college for 4 years or more and rack 40 to 100 thousand dollars in debt? Wasn't supposed to help them get better paying jobs? They decided on the degree they wanted to get. Right. What is preventing from going out and getting a good job in their field of study. Then they could get a car, a cell phone, a place to stay, food and they could start paying off their student loan. You agree they are smart, hard workers, well educated and highly motivated. Shouldn't they be able to knock down 70K,80K or 120K a year. Why not. They are smart and they have a degree. Just a question. Is there something either physically or mentally wrong with them that can't work? Maybe they are unable manage their money. Maybe they should have taken a personal finance class while in high school and a class on basic economics. wouldn't have hurt.
  6. Maybe feed their family. Maybe use it to pay for next year purchase of seed and fertilizer.
  7. Couldn't you say the same thing about students who took out loans and got an education and a degree? Didn't they know the risk. They are responsible to select a degree that is marketable and then go out and get a job. Right. Agriculture is 6 percent of our GDP. Its about 2 trillion dollars. These are actually companies, manufactures and farms. Millions of jobs. Agriculture is a vital part of our economy. The government can and has caused farm crisis's before. Take a minute and read about the farm Crisis of the 1980's. When President Carter approved a grain embargo of gain to Russia. The effects of that left devasting results for 15 years. We don't need a repeat of that this time around. China buys about 60 percent of the soybeans we export. That's about 14 billion dollars' worth.
  8. I'm going with the Hurricanes this year. One of my customers was a minority owner.
  9. You know if the citizens and mayor of Chicago cooperated with the federal Ice agents this could quite smoothly and be done in a matter of weeks. Crime would down in the city. The cities Resources could be used clean up their own City. They could be arresting their own criminals. They could be making their own city safer for their own citizens. Just some commonsense ideas.
  10. One my tougher days was putting to sleep our 17 year old black lab. She was still very alert and full of love. But her body had just slowly deteriorated. I am very sorry. They are really good companions.
  11. He seems to be already doing that while wrestling in high school. You have to remember Bishop McCort isn't your average high school wrestling an average schedule. Trust me he is getting all the challenges and competition he needs in that wrestling room and in the schedule his team wrestles.
  12. Clark was making several million a year in college. She still had one more year of eligibility when she left college. She would have made several million more had she stayed. When she was in college almost every game she played in home or away were sellout crowds. Clark value to the WNBA league is estimated to be close to a billion dollars. Thats correct, close to 1 billion dollars. Some estimates are even higher. When she arrived at the Indiana Fever the franchise was worth 90 million dollars. The value today 17 months later is 370 million dollars.
  13. I believe that's what he is saying. Poor wingers.
  14. It's being reported on news outlets. By Homeland Security Secretary (Kristi Noem). Maybe should give her a call 202-282-8000 or 877-227-5511.
  15. Lets see, if I new that information I would expect to see about 10 black Suburban's arriving in my driveway with some very well-dressed FBI agents coming to my porch. Now who is the idiot now. I surely wouldn't be on this forum.
  16. I wonder how long she will be able to fend off the pressure to step down. Her less than truthful statements don't seem to be helping. We shall see.
  17. Thats right $10,000 to kill agents and 2000 to capture them. This along with doxing the agents. Threatening their families. I hope there is going to be a few arrests made soon.
  18. AS Obama reminded us over and over again. Elections have consequences. Especially when you abused your power.
  19. I think he means when you weaponize your DOJ against your political opponents. You use lawfare to your full advantage. Oh, WAIT A MINUTE THAT WAS THE BIDEN ADMINISRATION.
  20. There is a video Napheesa Collier ( Lynx player and WNBAP vice president) It explains a lot and has a quote of what Engelbert said. Maybe one of you talented gents could put on this thread. Thanks.
  21. Agreed. For a smart woman what she said was really stupid.
  22. Seems that a lot if not all of the Coaches, players and fans would like to see her replaced.
  23. So good old Tim and all of the state employees should be very happy. the Tesla stock in their pensions gone up from 400 million dollars to over 900 million dollars since March 10th. I wonder if Tin is still watching Tesla stock on his App now?
