It was well worth the $16 newly paid to the wire for a one month membership to watch the video. That said, if you see the clips, you've seen the movie. Being a white man and having already voted Republican during this primary, I've learned that I'm at the top of the pile, I'm a nazi, I'm racist, and there is nothing I can ever do to change my privilege. Now I'm continuing my journey to learn what a woman is. /s

How to think critically about what the media is telling you?
jross replied to jross's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Wrong. I question assumptions, evaluate evidence, consider context, analyze arguments, seek multiple perspectives, and reflect on my thinking. I am a skeptic of nearly all sources. For example, I pulled the raw data for manufacturing jobs and did my own fact checking. Independent thinking! Not internet believing! -

1. What internal thoughts lead you to equate End Wokeness with Hitler? 2. Here is the video posted by the Washington Post Live direct. Will you watch it? The three-person opinion segment starts at 11:44. The topic leading to starts at 18:56. -

Have you watched the Washington Post recording shared with context from 'End Wokeness?' What evidence is there that 'End Wokeness' changed the message through a technique like selective framing? Answer: There is no evidence and 'EW' has ZERO influence to the watcher of the reposted Washington Post content. Mature individuals use data thoughtfully, forming informed opinions through literacy, critical thinking, and open discussion. Curiosity drives them to explore broader perspectives. You have not developed this skill and show no interest in doing so. -

Yeah but… Trump is a CINO… Yeah but… so are most Americans… either CINO or COSO… I’ll pay to watch the movie this weekend.

He can’t listen to an unedited recording. He can only attack the messenger, to feel better about his views… the views the media tells him to have. There are too many people unwilling to think independently. -
FDR got us out of the depression AND "will DT leave in four years?"
-
FACT CHECK: No, the Smoot-Hawley Tariff wasn't the main cause of the Great Depression because it was passed several months after the Depression had started. OCT 1929: The stock market crashed, marking the beginning of the Great Depression. JUN 1930: The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act was passed. The initial crash was fueled by stock speculation and an unstable economy, which led to a liquidity crisis and a drop in confidence. This resulted in the early bank runs and deflation. While the Smoot-Hawley Tariff had negative effects, it came later and fueled the existing problem.

GLORIUS Hugh Hewitt resigned from the Washington Post after he stormed off a livestreamed discussion on Friday amid a dispute with two of the newspaper’s liberal columnists that he called “the most unfair election ad I’ve ever been a part of.” Hewitt, a contributing columnist for the embattled Jeff Bezos-owned broadsheet, appeared on a discussion with Jonathan Capehart and Ruth Marcus previewing Tuesday’s election when the conversation turned to a lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign in Pennsylvania, where a judge agreed to a request to extend in-person voting in Bucks County. -

Make it stop. Context jackass! -
Your comments about holding past presidents accountable suggest you value fairness and honesty. However, only mentioning that Trump lost 40,000 jobs while Biden gained 800,000, without acknowledging the pandemic, seems intentionally dishonest on your part. My comment on "performance accountability" is about your behavior in recent posts. ---- The Fact Check article from Sept 2024 would have sufficed - https://www.factcheck.org/2024/09/trump-vs-harris-on-u-s-manufacturing/ Manufacturing Jobs Per December Months (bureau of labor statistics) reflect that Trump increased jobs his first two years, after inhering two years of job growth stagnation from Obama. The third year stagnated under Trump (add 2K jobs), and the fourth year the Pandemic took away the jobs. Biden gets credit for the Pandemic recovery in 2021 / 2022 stagnation starting again in 2023 (added 26K jobs) and 2024 is back to losing jobs! *Pandemic Recovery is inclusive of supply chains, reshoring, and legislative acts. --- Reference Recent and historical manufacturing job trends below. https://data.bls.gov/

According to factcheck, you qualify for a job with the MSM. There was a loss of 7,000 manufacturing jobs in 2016 before Trump took office. The economy was still up over 400,000 manufacturing jobs before the pandemic. Biden saw a return of those pandemic-lost jobs, and his economy saw another 170,00 jobs added post pandemic recovery. https://www.factcheck.org/2024/09/trump-vs-harris-on-u-s-manufacturing/

Let's assume Caveira incorrectly claimed that the government threatened a lawsuit to remove the Hunter Biden story. It’s well-documented that the government pressured and collaborated with social media to censor stories like this, and that’s fundamentally wrong. It's similar to how my company coerced me into getting the COVID vaccine. Did I want to? Absolutely not! But I was directly pressured to do it to keep my job. Don’t let semantics blind you to the incredibly wrong behavior of the government.

Yes, there are double standards in political accountability regarding Trump and his supporters. He’s an 'FU' to the establishment—his humor and savvy resonate with voters fed up with traditional politics. Since 2015, the Democratic propaganda aimed at Republicans has been worse than anything Trump has done, even if he shot someone on 5th Avenue. It's puzzling that any logical person can look at multiple Harris's policies/views and still choose to vote Democrat in 2024.

$2.50 or less for me... price drops after Labor Day weekend as the winter-grade gasoline is 10-30 cents cheaper* paired with lower consumer demand. *because the winter-grade gas has less restrictive safety standards https://www.integrityenergy.com/blog/debunked-the-truth-about-election-year-energy-price-trends/
