  1. WWJD Who would Jesus dual?
  2. Roman Bravo-Young will be lucky to all-american this year. Yianni Diakomihalis will lose in the first round before going on a back side heater. And Greg Kerkvliet will forfeit the title match so as not to contradict. Based on the latest coaches poll (partial poll?) here is how they see the top 10. PSU still on top but vulnerable. Discuss Iowa fans.
  3. James Bradberry disagrees wuth you. From The Athletic: "Eagles cornerback James Bradberry admitted to holding Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on a critical third-down play in Kansas City’s game-winning drive in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday."
  4. Travis Kelce with the lame "not one of you gave us a chance" dumbness. There were four on this thread alone.
  5. On two stand alone bets, or two parlays, or two elements of one parlay that has two elements, or two elements of a parlay that has more than two elements? Have you lost on any? We need a full accounting.
  6. I am curious how much money odds makers make on prop bets. I assume it is a lot given how hard I hear them pushed in ads and what I assume are guerilla ads (sports talk radio hosts talking about all their prop bets).
  7. I always find it entertaining that in a sport where every single athlete gets injured at some point in their career, people do not want to attribute missed matches to injury. Entertaining and dumb.
  8. The theory on HR was after he got decked by Tyler Dow he got benched. To say there was disagreement on this point would be to put it mildly. Given that he has not wrestled in the three weeks since, it has to be injury. "Making a point" for this long would be counter-productive. They will not be running a 165 lber out to wrestle B1Gs and thereby essentially forfeiting the weight, so they need Assad ready. If he is healthy he is getting ready by wrestling. So he must be injured.
  9. I do not. But now I am curious what the most in the TF era is. If you always let the trailing wrestler stay within 14 you could conceivably put up any score.
  10. Wait a seond. Why do my adds look like this?
  11. I have an alternative theory on why they are not calling top stalling. Because it is not stalling. The NCAA even issued a memo to clarify the issue.
  12. Jimmy and I agree on everything. Whatever he says, goes.
  13. He is heading back to Arizona to have a conversation.
  14. I heard that too. But the problem with that theory (a coach was using the previous spreadsheet which did not have those three due to match count) is that Spencer Lee was also not on the previous spreadsheet, but he still got the full compliment of votes this time around.
  15. I'm surprised no one is mentioning Eric Guerrero. 5, 1, 1, 1 at 126, 126, 126, 133.
  16. They probably do, but once you assign point values you are assuming your ranking will be the result taking you into the realm of predictions.
  17. On second thought, Jones did vote for 33 wrestlers at each of his four assigned weight classes. Just none of those 33 included RBY, Yianni, or Kerk.
  18. There are at least three cases where it is clear that only 11 votes were used. RBY at 133, Diakomihalis at 149, and Kerkvliet at 285. It seems to me that the root cause is most likely laziness. EDIT 1: If you look across the roster for those three weight classes there is a single coach who is on all three. I'm not saying Zeke Jones is responsible. I am just saying he is the only coach voting on all three. OK, I am saying he is responsible, even if I cannot prove it. So maybe not laziness? EDIT 2: Trivia Question: At what three weights does ASU have their three highest ranked wrestlers? Do not cheat by reading the first paragraph. For completeness, Jones is also the voter for 125 where they have their next highest ranked wrestler.
  19. Yeah. He is a moran. Did a D3 coach not vote for Yianni either?
  20. I hear ya. But I also think the Flo guys play fast and loose with their mantra that rankings are not predictions. For example, they use them to produce a prediction about who will score what at the tournament.
