I'm a PSU fan and I find Basch hard to take. His questions are more multi-paragraph dissertations than actual questions. And his constant name dropping is painful.

To be honest, I sped threw the interview because I have a hard time listening to Brooks and I don't know Basch, but in the short few minutes I watched it seeped like Basch likes the idea he can rub elbows with the greats and he like to name drop.

I think he's explosive enough. But I'm not sure he's got the freestyle-specific athletic defense or the insane hand-fighting necessary to defend the light-speed attacks he'll keep seeing. Micic does it with scrambling and stickiness. Gilman does it with killer, killer hand-fighting. Lee needs to spend all of his time on these skills before the Olympics.

They're taking 3 from each weight. Reaching the final is automatic. But if the Mongolian reaches the final, he'll be brought back in. But he would need to win 4 in a row tomorrow--two regular repechage, a traditional bronze match (usually they award two bronzes), then the bronze vs bronze special True 3rd wrestle-off.

Lets not get too feisty, Darian Cruz has a win over that guy lol. I think Lee got by his "scary" guy. Sarlak lost as well, so with Kalzhan (who gets teched a lot when he loses) being the only obstacle standing in his way, I've very confident Spency gets it done. Although..... not as confident as I was that he medals at the Olympics. He looks good against sub-par competition but I think he may lack the explosivity needed against those top guys. (I doubted MICIC as well but didnt we all) I think he is elite in skill but maybe just not body make-up.

While waiting for Zain's weight to start... the last 57Kg bout was a strange one. Bulgarian vs So Korean... noticeable size difference as the So. Korean is super short (dwarflike?) The Korean had a lot of medical timeouts (bonked in the head, don't really know for sure.) The Bulgarian was winning, w/ the So. Korean on the clock... AND THE LITTLEGUY GOT THE TD!!! The Bulgarian was besides himself... eventually he got the lead back late in the 2nd pd and HUNG ON with a 7-7 criteria win. Strange (AND wild bout, indeed!) D3

Why didn't Brooks ask the lord to help him with his homework?

Suggesting DT and his team's "hearts are hardened" and he hopes they find Jesus is just disrespectful af. He thinks the fact that he had a difficult path and got on the team is proof that God exists? C'mon dude. And then the kicker (paraphrasing) "I hope he actually wants to take the job and isn't doing it just to get the news of him losing to me out of the media". Brooks seems like a good kid, but he's a moron.

They should skip all of these safe hires and just have the Ferrari clan run the team.
