Special forces soldier arrested for winning $400,000 on poly market regarding the removal of Maduro, being charged with a plethora of charges including fraud

I saw that. How stupid is that guy? There was another story I saw about three guys from a team(I can't remember what sport) that bet on the outcome of their game beforehand. This is becoming more and more prevalent.

doesn't it suck that congress can insider trade, but a guy who actual will work for a living can't?

Well i mean i think everyone who uses corrupt inside info for monetary gain is scummy and a criminal whether it be congress or a soldier but we keep electing people who refuse to ban insider trading in both parties

I don't understand how anyone gets away with it. The betting sites watch real closely and hold the money for any large win for a period of time.

Somehow politicians getting inside information is ok. They just look the other way, but damn Martha Stewart did prison time for way less than Pelosi and the rest.
