Nebraska's next time out is National Duals so I got to thinking about what matchups would be fun & I landed on OK State vs Ohio State or Minnesota. Any others you can think of?

Why would they not compete in national duals?

Because none of them have yet to appear in a Lehigh wresting match this year due to long-standing injuries?  Yesterday Lehigh had two duals (Duke and Virginia), and today some of them are in a tournament, and none of the three competed.

Even if they show up for the first time, you think they'd send Nathan Taylor out against Ferrari for his first match back?  Or Stanich against Hardy for his first match back?  Not likely, and I wouldn't blame them a bit.  You'd think that this weekend would have been a good opportunity for Crookham to return if he were healthy.  I doubt a week will have made a difference.

That's actually a great point I didn't think about - given how early it is in the year you don't have as many guys dinged up and less reason to protect a seed.

Oklahoma State is on the opposite side of the bracket as Minnesota/Ohio State, so those matchups aren't likely until either the finals, 3rd, or 5th place match.

Minnesota bringing the whole squad? We'll be down a 157 and Minny looked better than us at the SE Open anyways.

A couple starters didn't wrestle last weekend at the Bison Open, but could be just precautionary.

Any chance we see Seidel get thrown in at 141 with how well campbell has been wrestling?

It's been talked about, Seidel has been banged up and Crook is coming off of a good win though. I don't think there is a way you can take Campbell off of the mat right now.

I really hope they can. I am not going to judge if they sit, but i am also going to judge

Stanich out till second semester after knee scope/surgery right after worlds.......then you have Griffin at 149 who had to MDF out of Princeton Open two weeks ago due to knee injury, and didn't wrestle last weekend.......133 Crookham and 285 Taylor are at best day to day as to when they will wrestle next coming off major injuries last season......157 Rozynski didn't wrestle second dual last weekend due to an injury in first dual.......

Lehigh could be putting 4 or 5 starters on the mat for the Nebraska dual, and not because that's what they want to do by any means........

Hot take but I think Sinclair is going to beat Ferrari. I feel like the low-level weight forward knee wrestling will play right into Sinclair's over collar stuff and drags. I also think Sinclair will be able to stay out of the leg pass positions and as long as he can square his hips on Angelo's singles, I don't see how Angelo gets by them.

So Ferrari by major?

A quick google search shows that Night Trips has 4.4 stars and Lady Godiva's has 4.1 stars...

I guess we know how KC Godfather spent his time after sessions when NCAAs were in Tulsa a few years ago.
