  2. I like your analysis here. ESP from a PSU guy.
  3. With Trumble beating Feldman he should not have another matchup against a top 10 guy until NCAAs. It appears Yonger should lock up the 1 with his number of quality wins assuming he beats Feldman & Taylor next Sunday. This would have the big ten champ & runnerup (Feldman & Ferrari) as 3 & 4 seeds, right? This bracket should split up rather well unless Nathan Taylor is undefeated and gets the 3 with a conference championship and quality wins. Any fault in my predictions or what do you guys see?
  4. And he has a bunch of kids that can follow him
  5. Iowa had not done very well recruiting the past few years so it makes sense why they would have plenty of funds for new recruits. Look how many seniors there will be off scholarship next year. Dean, Drake, Caliendo, PK, Endene. I would guess all of those guys are getting nearly full scholarships.
  6. Nebraska's next time out is National Duals so I got to thinking about what matchups would be fun & I landed on OK State vs Ohio State or Minnesota. Any others you can think of? https://www.wrestlestat.com/compare/dual/57/oklahoma-state/42/minnesota Volk vs Spratley Vombaur vs Vega Millard vs Robideau McEnelly vs Ryder https://.wrestlestat.com/compare/dual/57/oklahoma-state/55/ohio-state Davino vs Figs Mendez vs Vegas Stiles vs Swiderski Kharchla vs Facundo Feldman vs Doucet
  7. I've heard good things about Hockaday but he's not cleared to wrestle yet. I expected more out of this 2026 class but then again I'm not sure about the $$$ left or that will be freed up after Hardy, Allred, & Lamer. I saw Fellers committed, should be a good room/developmental guy.
  8. Thanks a ton for your insight. I do not follow high school near as much as others so it's great to gain perspective. I'll be excited to follow those guys this Fall
  9. Hoyt, who do you think would be a good fit for Nebraska in the 2027 class?
  10. Thanks, I was guessing it was a stalling calling that caused for the riding time to be stopped but wasn't sure.
  11. Interesting with Minto, wasn't sure if it was a long developmental TD or late, quick strike. im curious if LJ was using tilts, legs, or what he used to score nearfall
  12. Nebraska has guys at potentially 141, 157, 285. Would anyone else have more options than that? Iowa with 184 & 125 & 141 only. OK State 125, 149?, 184? Iowa State 149 if its wrestled at Big 12s & 285. Ohio State 133, 141, & 285
  13. What was the semis takedown sequence? And how did LJ get his turns?
  14. Looks like Minto won 17-2 in quarters. Wonder if it was someone else
  15. Van Dee got cement mixered when up 9-2. Kael beat a guy who best Koehler. Hardy gave up a lot of takedowns which is concerning imo. Nikade is young but Lamer looked good, will be nice to have him in. Antrell seemed like Antrell. LJ. Minto is never out of a close match. Duvall took Allred down again like he did in R1 at NCAAs. McDanel didn't make a jump. Andrews- that's why AJ got brought in
  16. Meyer to 149?
  17. What's the ripple affect from this?
  18. Dang it was hoping Nebraska would be in the mix
  19. 1 - McEnelly, Ferrari 2 - Ryder, Sinclair, Welsh, Allred, Smith 3 - Brenot, Fishback, Mantanona, Thompson 4 - Ayzerov, Cartegena-Walsh, Dean, Goin, Soldano? I never really thought of tier separation like you outlined. I tend to go with more who I think has comparable resumes & ceilings. 1- Max & Ferrari have very similar resumes when it comes to similar opponents. (Plott & Carter) 2- Silas has the best win of anyone in this group (Max Dean), but he has lost to Smith & Plott & Max. Smith was 2-0 vs Silas last year but still steps below tier 1 imo. Ryder doesn't have much of a college folk style resume so projecting. Sinclair's got a win over Salazar who I think would fall into this tier as well. He also lost to Andy Snith last year. Welsh made the national finals as a true freshman but without marque wins so having him higher would be projecting imo. No disagreements below this.
  20. Would you do a large tier 2 or separate them? Personally I'd bump Ferrari to 1 and then combine 2&3. I could see all of those guys taking losses from each other.
  21. Curious as to why tier 2 doesn't just include Allred. & Smith who are returning AAs. Have Ryder & Sinclair done anything to show they belong a tier ahead before wrestling significant matches at 184? I get Ferrari as he has a common opponent over Silas, but not really Welsh who split with Ruth at 174, who Silas did the same with. I think Smith beat him last year.
  22. Speaking of quality backups can we see them transfer at semester? Personally I'd love to see Blake Cushing (141) transfer to UNK and have success
  23. Koehler & Ayoub are most likely qualifier level at Nebraska as backups at 125/133
  24. Borge & Paul Kenny have been training at Nebraska since last Thursday for whatever that is worth
  25. Looks like Ragusin & Romney are up as well.
