Basset vs Stanich? Or do they wait till All Star Classic, giving Bo a chance to regroup a bit after Worlds? Wouldn't in any way consider it ducking if Bo doesn't wrestle since All Star Classic only a few weeks away.......

The Crookham move makes sense to me for the team and for Crookham himself. He's a grad transfer so he can get his masters at another school which is always a good thing on the resume and pocket some cash........someone will throw a lot at him hoping his health can return and stay....... Lehigh is looking at a lineup next year of Ziegler, Lopes, Stanich at the first three weights (if Stanich stays 141 and doeesn't go 149 which is a possibility I would guess).......and Dillard will be pushing for a spot if Stanich moves up........Hard for Lehigh as a smaller private school to just hold Crookham's spot "hoping" he can get and stay healthy....... Wishing him only the best, Ryan is a good dude as well and whatever school gets him is lucky to have him as a person as well as a wrestler (when and if healthy)......

Taylor literally dragging his injured leg around last few weeks, when the knee was ok he was an incredibly explosive, nimble and active full 285........he's looked like a shell of himself the last month of the season......he stands up on his good leg and kind of drags his injured leg under him.........has stopped shooting and just tries to win on riding time and opponents mistakes for the last month or so....... Hope he can get the knee right by next season.......

Well I appear to stand corrected......Lopes is shown in first coaches rankings so I would guess Lehigh has decided to put him on the mat........have to say I am a bit surprised

Ziegler is 1-7 at 133 this year before Crookham came back....... but his losses were to Byrd (2), Blaze, Frost, Larkin, Ayoub and Tallmadge.......that's a tough run of opponents for a natural 125 wrestling up at 133........but with Seymour at 125 and having already used redshirt I suppose it's better than not wrestling or just wrestling opens.......he's 4-0 at 125 this year with win over Cornell's Greg D.

I would say doubtful.......he jumped in late in the year during last season also.......hard to believe he wastes two years of his eligibility for 1 1/2 month seasons........Would think they would want him to take the rest of this year to continue to bulk up so he is closer to a full sized 133....... Ziegler has taken his lumps at 133 this year but is potentially a very good 125, he is having to use a year of eligibility anyway this year (red shirted last year) so I think he goes 133, I think they plug him in at 133 and let him continue to get mat time.....

Before you get too excited realize he was wrestling in the b flight and wrestled in the following order: wrestlestat #260 wrestlestat #247 wrestlestat # 111 and in finals wrestlestat # 68 (w 4-2) Not that the A flight overall was much better but it kept him away from Stanich

For those who don'ty know he wrestled Lehigh's backup's backup........#12 ranked 157 from Lehigh Rozynski did not wrestle in the dual and has been out over a month with shoulder issue since PSU dual in early December..........

Isn't 125 Seymour from Lehigh 10-0? Seems to be what I see on wrestlestat...... Hard to fathom him not in rankings

As previously stated he wrestled last weekend and beat the current #17 and #18.......won both in low scoring controlled matches by 4 points each

Why would the #6 ranked Cornella beating the #5 ranked Stanich (if he is even ranked) who hasn’t wrestled in about 6 months be an “upset special”? You sound like a guy who says i’m going to go wayyyyy out on a limb here and say the coin flip will be tails…… and no Roz at 157 so Shapiro will get a cake walk to bonus and Reinsel at 149 since Griffin is done for year….

JT Davis, Crookham, Stanich and Griffin still out injured for Lehigh, don't expect to see them till second semester Rozynski is borderline healthy after getting injured in PSU dual and doubt you see him in both duals this weekend, personally just hoping he wrestles one of them..........Seymour same thing after going thru a nasty sickness, building him back up to wrestle, doubt he goes both duals but maybe......... Injuries happen but it's been a tough one so far for Lehigh........

It's a shame Lehigh doesn't have Crookham, Stanich, Griffin, Davis etc for this weekend........not taht they would challenge PSU anyway but would be a lot more interesting.......Pitt dual should be a tight one with all the Lehigh guys out of the lineup, pretty much a tossup

None of the Lehigh guys are "ducks"......injury situation is a major problem.......Crookham and Taylor haven't wrestled since early last year and my guess is probably won't for another month, hope I'm surprised and they can get out there sooner.........Griffin got injured two weeks ago and was in a walking brace last weekend..........Stanich recovering from post worlds scope/surgery very doubtful we see him till second semester I'm actually surprised Rozynski is wrestling as he got "dinged" pretty good also last weekend and only wrestled first of two duals....... Not much you can do, will be a tough weekend for Lehigh..........

Stanich out till second semester after knee scope/surgery right after worlds.......then you have Griffin at 149 who had to MDF out of Princeton Open two weeks ago due to knee injury, and didn't wrestle last weekend.......133 Crookham and 285 Taylor are at best day to day as to when they will wrestle next coming off major injuries last season......157 Rozynski didn't wrestle second dual last weekend due to an injury in first dual....... Lehigh could be putting 4 or 5 starters on the mat for the Nebraska dual, and not because that's what they want to do by any means........

Guessing second semester most likely, but the code of silence is in full effect

Stanich is out for the moment, most likely till early second semester (injury at world's)......I would guess 50/50 at best if he wrestles at Journeyman Duals

Lehigh with at least a couple of quality starters out early in season will struggle in that bracket unfortunately........was set up to be their year to shine, tough schedule and solid team, but the injuries may cause a rough start to the year........hey it's wrestling, injuries and dings are common but it's unfortunate........hoping they are healthy and ready to go second semester

Think Wilt if healthy and still comfortably at 184 beats either one of them........

you will not be seeing Rozynski at 157

Lehigh does quite well at continuing wrestling tradition in a difficult environment for them only getting more difficult by the year...........if you look at the top twenty how many are private institutions with under 30,000 undergrads? Lehigh has 5,800 undergrads.........so figure they graduate around 1,450 students a year..........their competitors are graduating 10,000 students a year or more in many cases...........think of the dollar difference in alumni donations (although Lehigh grads tend to do quite well)........plus admissions holds wrestlers to a higher standard than many of their competitors do for admission.........makes recruiting that much more difficult....... the wrestling program is very well funded, has great facilities including LVWC and a solid if aging fan base.......and yes I'm a Lehigh alum, but am very proud of the wrestling tradition the university has managed to maintain.......but to expect Lehigh to do much more in the NIL era dollar wise is not realistic.......Lehigh cannot "buy" a team like the huge state schools........it's not lack of ambition it's the reality of the numbers........

It is very risky "buying" a guy for a year that is in his 6th or 7th year of college wrestling......the wear and tear on the body is real......... Iowa has money to burn, and if they could develop them they would be way better off "buying" younger top level prospects off other programs........ Not a fan of NIL or Iowa for that matter, so would hate to see it, but it seems like it will unevitably be the trend........

Sure, stall calling can be frustratingly random but the optics of a guy flat out running right to the edge and beyond without having any contact with the opposing wrestler is terrible.........it WILL get called every time, I've never seen anything like it.........he literally speed walked backwards to the edge and as soon Gable made any move towards engaging he backed out of the circle and a few times waaaaay out of the circle......the time Gable jumped backwards on the edge so Slava couldnt back pedal anymore and force Slava to wrestle was something I hope to never see again in a NCAA match......terrible optics for the sport at it's biggest tournament.....Slava basically forced the ref to stall him out.......if there was a turnbuckle Slava may have started eating it......... All this said I am not a Stevenson fan by any means, but that match was a travesty........were all the Rutgers coaches yelling "Boom" after the match?

Come on, seriously Slava could have been hit two other times he wasn’t….. he literally jumped out of bounds a couple times and ran out a couple others…… he wasn’t even engaged with Stevenson a couple times just backed out as Stevenson advanced …… i literally have never seen a match that embarrassing, I mean yeah Gable is an absolute monster but to just concede and runaway like that….. crazy….. now that was Rutgers “Boom” wrestling for you lol
