NASA recently shared evidence of this when they presented what they are calling the "Dake specimen" apparently it is moving backwards in time and becoming younger by the day. Gable's 1st match in this particular sport wasn't meant to "impress" you or anyone else.

Gophers wrestling the Bison Open, PSU wrestling kids from Team Wayward Orphans, etc. You should know that you ease into it slowly, then accelerate.

Don't be bagging on one of our best wrestlers ever if you can't bring it.

I didn't attack anyone personally here.  I just merely meant it's hard to tell if Gable is actually good at this or just way better than whomever his opponent was because that guy really wasn't.  I wasn't "bagging one of our best wrestlers" - I even literally said I wasn't a Gable hater and that I wished he would stick with wrestling - cause he's really friggin good at that.  I just don't have any takeaways from the 13 seconds of whatever dirty boxing is.  All I said was his opponent wasn't impressive and I can't take away anything about Gable from that bout.  I literally didn't even say anything bad about Gable in the post.  



Also what does "if I can't bring it" even mean?  What am I bringing? and to where? I don't even know . . . my stars you reacted like I punched your sister

Whoa. You read it as "feisty and aggressive?' That's interesting, but that's on you. Read it again, and this time - assume I was calm (which I was.) The written word is interesting that way. Words can actually influence you by reflecting your own emotions while reading.

Well since multiple lines of your initial post were derogatory towards me; does feel a little feisty and aggressive.  But you make a great point, tone can be easy to misinterpret over text.  So fair to say you also misinterpreted the tone of my original post that you "calmly" rebuked?

As I explained, the "don't impress me much" was merely because the opponent was so far down the ladder of competition (and just general level of athlete) that Gable is that I can't take anything away from it.  I understand Gable is debuting in a new arena per say; but I was hoping step one would be a smidge more of a challenge than that; someone that would at least last a full round.  Just hard to take any data away from 13 seconds against someone who folded that fast and is so far below the level of athlete Gable is. 

FWIW - Mrs. ScottishSteel was also playing Shania Twain that morning so the line came to mind fairly easily.  If you really want to read into the lyrics the next lines are "so you got the looks but have you got the touch, Now, don't get me wrong, yeah, I think you're alright"  Doesn't seem like a shot at Mr. Steveson at all now does it?
