Save me the “oh I just want justice for the victims” for a moment. What do you actually want to happen to the Penn State wrestling program?

Coaches fired? Recruits recommitted? Roster pillaged? Championships rescinded?

A new head coach (someone who can coach character....is minkel still available?) and no post-season for 3 or 4 years should right the ship.

I want their fakeness to be exposed. The aww shucks we are just grateful to be here thing is an act for most of them. Would love to see Carter charged if he is guilty of the extremely heinous behavior towards women.

i would prefer cael be fired from PSU. this would give the buckeyes a chance to hire him in a couple years when Tom Ryan wants to retire. I think he just needs some space from the toxicity of psu for the moment and he'll come back better.

Coaches fired and everyone who was involved has their USAW cards lifetime revoked.

If the stories are true, this. I mean this in addition to the actual legal and NCAA penalties. Again, if true, I want folks to realize that these guys are just really good at wrestling, but the "we're a bunch of good natured dweebs" stuff is a front.

Well you would be the only one he welcomed then.  That guy was a tool.  I almost said "only if you had anything negative to sat about PSU" but I would have been wrong, guy was a tool.

I do appreciate how PSU fans view the concept of justice... "save me the justice for the victims BS... We just want to know how this will impact our sports teams... "

What did Beau want Cael to do with this information? That, to me, answers what should be done. If he asked him to handle it, and he approached Carter, then he did right. Did Beau want Police involved or it to be handled internally? Did Beau’s wife escalate the situation to make Beau follow suit? There’s still many parts of the story that we don’t know. Cael and Beau may have been happy how it was handled for the moment. Maybe not? If this was literally any other school besides PSU, it wouldn’t be looked at the same, and we all know that. 
 

Now the rape allegations? That’s a different story. Anyone forcing sexual activity deserves to be burnt at the stake. 25 years minimum.

Different set of allegations, but this reminds me of how it went down with JRob and Minnesota. J tried to handle things internally rather than following the reporting rules and that was enough to get J pushed out the door. If what we have heard so far is corroborated, I don't see how PSU isn't forced to do the same with Cael.

I thought about this, too. Since we don't know what Sanderson did with what information, I won't speculate. I will point out that 2025 is not 2016. So even if all the particulars are the same,we shouldn't expect similar consequences.

For many it seems like the best thing would be to keep this drama open, allow people to point fingers and cry ‘shame’ and generally pat themselves on their own back for their sense of righteousness.  Also allow people to feel better about themselves by giving more time to tear down and spit on those they now feel superior to.

At this point, if Carter doesn't like you, you're feeling pretty good about that right now... If you were tight with Carter, you're looking over your shoulder.
