Valencia leads 3-1 over Dake at the break... Valencia looks bigger.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Now 7-1 Valencia... challenge from Dake's corner.

Dake w/ a TD and the lock... but it's a no-go for exposer attempt.

5-3 takes it for Zahid.

Zahid is just stupid big for Dake. What the hell is Dake doing at this weight?

Carl said "you're a 6x world medalist and 3x champ (add 1 to each if you count the Mickey Mouse worlds) and you have never lost to Zahid. You can go whatever weight you want."

Takeaways for the first matches.

70kg is yiannis weight through 2027 and nobody is going to be close.

luke is really good I think he could push for that spot by 2028 but I think he’s too big to hold it potentially.

why did people think Barr could beat Trent?

there is a blueprint to wrestle Mitchell but you have to be so damn good to execute it.

levi is built for freestyle.

I'm curious what was going on with Mesenbrink. He barely took any shots in that match and looked spent at the end of the match. I've never seen Mesenbrink so inactive. Carr looked really good though, very clean shots and finishes.

Looks like will have to fill some time between now and 5pm... Backgammon anyone?😏

Dake is really small for 86kg.  He can't use leverage and doesn't have the power for this weight class.

You all seem to forget that not even the refs could save Missinbricks when Carr beat him (and KOT) at NCAAs. This is not uncharted territory for the *former junior worlds champ and cadet bronze.
