This one is pretty egregious.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2025/03/trump-administration-accidentally-texted-me-its-war-plans/682151/

And 90 minutes after this became public Trump claimed to know nothing about it (his go to move). He is either lying about that (my guess) or he is stunningly uninformed for a President.

Yah, I think him saying he didn't know anything about it was as bad as the leak itself. He took that opportunity though to rip on the Atlantic. Pretty predictable. Zero class.

Did I mention that Pete Hegseth is a moron who is worse than any DEI hire that was ever hired?

I could draw the name of any current or retired active duty LTC or higher in the military out of a hat and almost certainly get a better qualified individual for the job.

Hell, I have dozens of friends who are more qualified.

So tell us again how Clinton mishandled classified documents? 😂

Bill Clinton's handling of classified documents has been scrutinized in various ways over the years, but one of the most notable controversies involved his National Security Advisor, Sandy Berger.

Sandy Berger Incident (2003-2004)

  • Berger, who served under Clinton, was caught removing classified documents from the National Archives in 2003 while reviewing materials related to the 9/11 Commission.

  • He admitted to stuffing documents in his socks and pants, later destroying some of them.

  • Berger pleaded guilty in 2005, received a fine, probation, and lost his security clearance.

  • While Clinton wasn’t directly involved, this raised concerns about how classified materials were handled by his administration.

Clinton’s Personal Handling of Classified Information

  • No major scandals regarding Clinton personally mishandling classified documents surfaced during or after his presidency.

  • However, in the late 1990s, there were concerns about loose security protocols in the White House, particularly regarding nuclear launch codes (one report claimed they were misplaced for months).

Presidential Records and the Clinton Sock Drawer Case

  • Clinton recorded private conversations during his presidency, which he kept as personal records.

  • A legal case known as the “Clinton Sock Drawer” case stemmed from tapes stored in his personal residence.

  • In 2012, a court ruled that a president has broad discretion over what he considers personal vs. presidential records.

In short, while Clinton himself wasn’t accused of personally mishandling classified documents, his administration faced scrutiny over security lapses, and the Berger incident remains one of the most infamous cases of document mishandling linked to his presidency.

But who have we declared war against?

Ignore the real issue and keep focusing on semantics. As long as you are focused on how words are used you might want to get up in arms about the Trump administration banning the use of words, calling for revoking the licenses of new organizations, and Trump calling for impeaching judges four days after he said any criticism of judges he appointed should be illegal.

If I'm Trump, this is what I'd do:

  • No Atlantic Leaks: Caught leaking to The Atlantic or talking without my okay? Fired.
  • Signal’s Done: Past admins used it; Us, Biden’s crew. It’s easy, secure, but after the Houthi fiasco, it’s banned. JWICS for big stuff, Teams Gov for rest. Caught on unapproved apps? Gone. IT’s watching.
    • ...and  an official scolding to those on the chat
  • Waltz’s Mess: Michael Waltz, your Signal invite let a journalist see war plans. Explain.  Fired.  Deputy steps up until I name a replacement.

I’m announcing a new White House policy: Any outlet that exploits breaches like the Houthi leak, or twists ops to harm our security, gets cut off. No chats, no leaks, no seat at the table. If you put headlines over America, you’re out.

His criteria for hiring/firing people is based upon loyalty to Trump, and that's the ONLY criteria. Nobody will be fired as long as they continue to kiss his rear.

Of course that's what you're upset about. Not that the people in charge of the military are grossly incompetent.

I said to fire the one who invited the journalist and reprimand the chat participants.  That's enough for me.

Grossly incompetent is going to War in Vietnam for 8 years. 58,220 young soldiers died during the war. Another 300,000 have died from the exposure to agent orange. You can probably add another 300,000 more deaths for various reasons. Thats what I call Grossly incompetent. Having a meeting on Signal with a reporter present or invited by stupidity is really stupid and a security breach. It happened. Take responsibility for it. It won't happen again. Lets move on.

Weren't you one of the guys complaining about unqualified DEI candidates? And now Trump hires a tv host to run the department of defense and he's done something so mind-boggling stupid, you're measured and restrained? lol

Also, what do you think about bombing a country without congressional consent? Aren't you also a constitution guy?

B.S. We can't have that kind of stupidity from people in charge of our national defense, or a President that nominates such idiots, based more upon their loyalty to him than any level of competence. This is what you get in return. You don't just "move on" simply because it wasn't as "bad" as Vietnam.
