Rutgers

125 - Peterson (???)

133 - Shawver

141 - Olivieri

149 - Clark

157 - Harer

165 - Barbosa

174 - Soldano or hit the portal

184 - Cartagena-Walsh

197 - Casale

285 - Hit the portal

Rutgers's descent into the bottom of the B1Gs will continue next year.  Peterson is looking to be at risk of hitting the portal, and I am not sure who the hell we will be able to grab for '74 or HWT.  Soldano cutting down is more of wishful thinking than anything, as I do not see him as the better option at '84 over SCW.  Hope is that Shawver and Olivieri have some sort of fire lit under their ass after a rather disappointing end to NCAA's.  Excited to see what Barbosa can bring to 165.

What happened to Poznanski?

Uneducated guess for Penn - probably missing a few candidates:

125 Max Gallagher

133 Alex Almeyda

141  CJ Composto

149 Cross Wasilewski

157 Jude Swisher (seems like a hoops name)

165 Andy Troczynski (just a wild ass guess - could be many contenders here and 174 might be biggest ??)

174 Kaya Sement (or 165)

184 Nate Taylor

197 Martin Cosgrove return?

Hwt John Pardo runs it back

Not sure how anyone can think that Rutgers had a good year. Goodale said, "it is all about March"

At the national tournament Rutgers was 13th out of 14 Big Ten schools. They finished 36th in the tournament behind schools such as Penn, Little Rock, Navy, Wyoming, Cal Poly, Utah Valley, Oregon State and others. Only 2 Big Ten schools did not have an All American:Michigan State and Rutgers. Two of the last 3 years, Rutgers lacked an All American. Rutgers gets good recruits. They just haven't developed many of them. These facts don't portray a program on the rise.

Davis Motyka from Wyoming Sem at 125.  Sean Seefeldt a Ohio state champ at 174. The kid from Arizona at 165 took 2nd at Fargo to Melvin Miller is very tough. Will be some contested weights. CJ back and Cross and Jude blood round this year.

149: Mendez needs to start moving up for the 65kg FS weight.

Going from 141 to 143 feels like a non-issue? Is prepping for 143 at 149 a thing? I haven't heard it before.

Zain and Johnny D were 149lbers (at the end).

Nick Lee and McKenna were 141lbs.

I think Mendez will go wherever the team wants/needs him. If Cannon can go 149, ai think that puts Mendez at 141. If he can't I think we see Davino go up to 141lbs (unless Bouzakis is leaving for Pitt).

If he's comfortable being a 141lber wrestling 65kg it's a non issue. I guess it just seems like he'd be small...

If I knew anything I'd be rich.

i hope once you go back to back you have a little more say in your weight. let the team warp around you a little.

Thanks - if Davis goes 125, des Max go 133 or sit out?  Who is the AZ wrestler?  Is Kaya Sement back and Cosgrove back?  Agre that there will be some contests!

That isn't his mentality, nor what they have been projecting.  It's a team effort.

I am sure Mendez is confident in his ability at either weight.

Where do you think Elam will go if AJ goes to Iowa

If he wrestles next season, who says he's going anywhere?  He was born and raised in Missouri, his dad wrestled hs and college in Missouri, his brother wrestled at Mizzou, and he's a 4x AA at Mizzou.  People talking transfer either have deep inside info or are just throwing darts.  I'd be very surprised if he's not at Mizzou next year.

Do you think he follows big bro to Rutgers? Heard Zach will head there to be an RTC coach and athlete via an instagram post he made. They’ve been together all their lives, as much as I would hate for it to happen, I could see it.

all i'm saying is that yianni said the same thing but i don't think cornell was going to ask him to cut no matter what the lineup looked like. people say this like it's a bad thing but i don't think it is at all.

Really...The Basement?...I guess you don't follow the B1G much!!...Rutgers had their best year ever in Conference duals and the recruiting is on fire...

Unfortunately I follow them too much.  My sentiments are a reflection of what @grapevine said before.  Rutgers gets hot on the recruiting trail, only for it to not pan out when it's time for those recruits to start.

I cheered as loud as anybody when they beat Illinois this season, but until actual strides are made on a consistent basis, three straight losses in the blood round this weekend has crushed my optimism for what comes next.  If that projected lineup enters National Duals next season, I honestly expect a quick exit from the bracket for them.

UNI

125: Anderson
133: Farber/Land
141: Farber/Land
149: Don't know
157: Downey
165: RJ Weston maybe?
174: Simma
184: CJ Walrath?
197: Voelker
285: Grant Stromberg

Won't be any true freshmen that will fill any gaps in this lineup as Schwab redshirts everyone. Kind of hard to imagine UNI getting a transfer who will start as that's not really UNI's vibe, but it's happened before. Should be solid at 125, 133, 141, 157, 174, and 197, but unless they get a transfer, 149 will probably be a black hole.

I remember people being high on Weston last year but he never cracked the lineup for reasons I can't remember - maybe he just got beat out by Downey and Thomsen. Walrath is supposed to be decent, I think. Stromberg probably has a ways to go before he's a solid D1 heavyweight.

Will be interesting to see how Schwab and staff take their success this year and build on it. Can probably assume they'll be solid at 184, whoever it is. So 149, 165, and heavyweight are probably the biggest questions.

Downey said in a podcast he most likely won't be at 157 next year

Nebraska projections

Hopefully this happens because idk if I can do another year with Harley Andrews

125 - rfr Kael Lauridsen

133 - jr Jacob Van Dee

141 - sr Brock Hardy (I believe he has a better chance here than at 149)

149 - sr Blake Cushing/fr Nikade Zinkin/ Transfer (I'm hoping Zinkin because I think that he is the real deal but wouldn't be upset at Cushing finally getting his chance to be starting)

157 - jr Antrell Taylor

165 - so Christopher Minto

174 - rfr LJ Araujo

184 - sr Lenny Pinto

197 - sr Silas Allred

HWT - fr Cade Ziola/so Camden McDanel/jr Harley Andrews (Idk if I can see Camden moving up because he is a 97kg guy, but I wouldn't be opposed to it. I think Ziola is the better option if he can fill into the weight, he already has a massive frame)

I hope Nebraska can somehow convince Isaac Trumble to come back home, but if not I hope that this is the starting lineup for next year
