The predictions have 165 at 3-3 so far - interesting and a tribute to how good Caliendo is.

That being said, I don't see it.  MM doesn't look like he's one iota complacent and he is a bad bad man.

This is a fools errand at most weights(only because it's unpredictable...but I still enter pools).

125-Spratley needs to come out and be more aggressive. Robinson IS going to get in on him and probably take him down. He's too slick and talented. I've seen two Spratley's...but based on the Semis, I've gotta take Robinson

133-I'm a huge Byrd fan, I'm taking Byrd again...even if I think it's Ayala's year.

141-Mendez(I WOULD like to see Hardy get some payback for what happened to him last year...an indignity no man should EVER suffer...that man was on ESPN).

149-Lovett

157-Insane. I'd have bet money Shapiro and Kasak would be out there, but I think Taylor is figuring it out.

165-Mesenbrink is Thanos. He is inveitable.

174-Hamiti...I think the Haines match helped him get over the hump.

184-Cstarr but this is not a gimme.

197-I think Barr pulls this one out

HWT-Hendrickson

(no, not really, Gable, BUT...I think the blue print to beating Gable is simple and nearly impossible. Defensive 1st, close the distant, handfight but block. Gable goes down, Hendrickson has to beat his first move, ride him...not out, but for a while, take a little more wind out of his sails and then...3rd period...find a way to get a TD?)

Should be a fun finals round with great match ups. I am a big KOT fan and want him to win but Hamiti has been the better wrestler this tournament and looks healthier. It's tough enough to go through the national tournament healthy, let alone when you are banged up.

174 is a tough pick for me because I think Haines would've beat KOT if they were on the same side of the bracket, with Keegan's injuries and slight HEW and all. Plus, Hamiti just wrestled him a couple of weeks ago and will be tougher with his scrambling. But I think KOT pulls it together for his final college match. Rooting for him either way.

Re 125: The Fix is in on Spratley. From the quarters on, he has been wrestling not to lose. It's worked out as he was able to capitalize on the aggression of Ramos and Ventresca.

I think that first loss to Robinson got in his head a little. Before that, he really seemed like he had turned a corner.

That said, he wins via a tenacious ride out.

Lol ain't this the truth. Unfortunately, I think it goes boring; Lovett being up 1-0 in the third and Henson picking neutral figuring he's got a better shot at the takedown than the escape (and being right about that).
