Well not in wrestling, but I am sure in something.

According to the last coaches' rankings Nebraska has surpassed Oklahoma State for the third podium spot and is just a tad behind Iowa for second.

Even that ~80 point gap to PSU is manageable. For details check with @jajensen09

One caveat. The coaches' rankings, for some inexplicable reason, include wrestlers who did not make the tournament. When seeds come out later today I will update the projections.

With your talent wrestleknowsalot, FLO should put you on their payroll.

"Nebraska to Win it All ... Well not in wrestling, but I am sure in something"

The Good: Nebraska is the leading producer of popcorn in the United States.

The Acceptable: Nebraska is the number one producer of Great Northern beans in the U.S.

And the Horrible: Nebraska leads the nation in cattle slaughter, killing 6.8 million each year.   (As a near life-long vegetarian, I'm horrified.)

Lose WKN to the Dark Side?  No way...Just look at @Jon_Kozak over here sniffing around and wondering what the Light Side is all about.

FIFY, since I see all three of these as an absolute win...

Rosy take considering you have the entire team overperforming their projected seeds.  I guess it's possible but it's likely most guys will only perform to seed and a few will underperform.

#8 Smith to finalist.

#17 Van Dee to AA (is he going to wrestle at NCAAs given the injury?)

141, 149 and 157 I can see happening

#14 Minto to AA

174 I can see happening

#10 Allred to AA

#18 McDanel to R12

Maybe they do that and still loose. PSU gets at least 3

125 -finalist           Lilledahl 3rd

133 AA                   davis 8th

141 finalist              Bartlett 3rd

149 finalist             Svn 3rd

157 AA                    Kasak wins

165 AA                    Mess wins

174 AA                    Haines 2nd

184 AA                    Star wins

197 bloodround      Bar  5th

 285                        Kirk 2nd

Good point, Gene:

125 -finalist           Lilledahl 3rd    Lilledahl is more likely to be a finalist than Smith, who he is 2-0 against this season.

133 AA                   davis 8th         Davis is a wildcard, if Van Dee is healthy I have it as a push to AA.

141 finalist              Bartlett 3rd     I would give Bartlett the same odds as Hardy to make the finals.

149 finalist             Svn 3rd           I would give SVN the same odds as Lovett to make the finals.

157 AA                    Kasak wins    Kasak obviously is a favorite to make the finals.

165 AA                    Mess wins     Mess is a lock to make the finals

174 AA                    Haines 2nd    Haines at worst takes 3rd.

184 AA                    Star wins       Starroci is a lock to make the finals and should win.

197 bloodround      Bar  5th          If Barr is at least 80% healthy he should at least AA.

285                        Kirk 2nd         At worst Kerk takes 3rd.

Penn State's women's volleyball team won the National Championship this year.  En route, they beat Nebraska in the semifinals.  They also have the NCAA record for the sport with 107 consecutive match wins from 2007-2010 (36 more straight victories than the PSU wrestling team by comparison).

Who's scoring points for them this year other than Meyer and Foca?

What are we actually doing here? 7/10 just for the depth of the hate glasses you're looking through.

Perhaps a wrestling version of a " Flat Earther " No possible way to defend a position, just there to be annoying?

Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and exuberance.
