If I'm wearing a sleeveless shirt at my son's wrestling tournament...........somebody please tell me to go home.

He absolutely should be disqualified. He made a choice. Choices have consequences. Maybe Cal State Bakersfield needs a 125?

Not saying he was looking for a fight, but he was certainly dressed like he was looking for a fight. Not to mention it's full blown winter in NJ, LOL.

The video of the other wrestlers was...odd.

WTF lol. I felt like I was watching the tell of Captain Walker in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

I wonder what percentage of the crowd there is on TRT.

They sell Test at the concession stand. It's listed right under the sun tan spray.

Well that would certainly be worthy of a DQ if so

And potential to where he's going to college. Coaches may not want these  character issues, unless you're the Brands bros.

the fact that the discourse is that this team "had Anthony Knox thrown out" is ridiculous. Anthony Knox (and his father) are the ones responsible for themselves getting thrown out.

Imagine a wrestling tournament (or any sporting event) where the concept is that if a fan in the stands is talking trash, you and your family members have the right to go fight them.

NCAAs could be even more exciting this year when you think about all the parents in the stands starting fights, and wrestlers running up to join in.

This story got so big that my dad, who still has no idea what a tech fall is after seeing over a decade's worth of matches, texted me about it.  I feel for Knox as a Shore Conference expat and a fan of seeing history being made, but actions have consequences (which Anthony has seemed to acknowledge in his IG post).  That being said, the reaction on both ends of it is frankly disgusting.  That little story time group of kids from District 25 is undoubtedly cringe (like any of them wouldn't piss their pants if they saw Knox in public at this point), but Minnow's cult group glazing him to ungodly levels ain't much better.  I guess I shouldn't expect much coming from a guy who calls Focus a "class act" and only wants rules applied to wrestlers that won't benefit his social capital in the sport.   Kid ain't a hero, and I doubt he would be treated as much if his skillset on the mat wasn't as good as it is.

I hope the best for Knox in college.  It would be a shame if this was the beginning of a descent and not just a footnote in a tremendous career.

This alone scores me.  I have had a bad experience with people showing their guns in NJ!

Growing up we called them Sleeve Thiefs...

*Thiefs misspelled on purpose*

The excuses coming out of that group have been crazy

It's New Jersey's fault for having a private school in a public school regional, there wasn't proper security, it was a planned thing to get Knox kicked out, the entire gym was against them, etc..

Didn't you see history being made? When was the last time a three time state champ was disqualified in his quest for four because he went into the stands to help his father fight? Can't be more than two or three times.

It is the same weirdos backing the Minnow in every thread.  It is very entertaining.  The best/worst is his #1 sycophant who tries to "break news" and attempted to start a Coleman Scott vs David Taylor club controversy a month ago.

Clowns.  Very amusing.

A respectable best/worst choice moment.  My personal fav has to be from a few weeks ago when they all were wiping their fishy leader's tears away because Kasak's family didn't like him spreading an AI-generated article around that group, so they didn't let up on posting about how good he's been to the kid throughout his career until mom issued a pity apology.

Real purveyors of class in that group.

I'm sure we could easily list off the top rump swabs.
