If you think Elon has any goal other than pushing his own agenda, you're delusional.

USAID was investigating the contracts and millions of dollars Elon's Starlink internet they purchased for humanitarian efforts in Ukraone and his narcissistic self got pissed. Poof, byebye USAID.

Twitter inks a deal with Visa to start a pay service via Twitter, CFPB goes to look into it, poof, byebye to the organization which has returned billions of fraudulant activities to all sorts of Americans. This organization, which has a very low budget, was implemented after the financial crash in 2008 and is solely there to make sure users don't get scammed and screwed over by bbig banks with fraud, excessive fees, etc. Yet here we are, Elon doesn't want to be held accountable, so we're all screwed. Good luck getting your money back if your bank screws you over.

You're delusional and so is anyone who's buying that what Elon is doing is good for America. It's good for Elon, and that'll continue until Elon blatantly steps on Trump's foot and they have a falling out.

very good!

not exactly... my point is we have a 4 trillion budget and spend much more...

so a billion is nothing to them. and so we spend spend spend

I think cutting the budget is crucial. The only problem is we have a maniacal narcissist who is shutting down agencies due to conflicts of interest and trying to justify it with measly unimportant spending that some disagree with, and labeling it "criminal" or "fraud". Elon wants to be the richest man to ever live and have ultimate power, and he's got the keys to the government to get him there. You all are just cool with it.

If Trump's not pandering to Musk, then why didn't we hear about his EO for canceling all aid to South Africa due to them wanting to preserve land for South African whites? Surely it was important to him if he has to sign an executive order within 18 days of inauguration. Oh wait....

Those single line items don't really say anything. Like Scouts Honor said, this is all peanuts compared to our spending deficit and makes literally no difference. Unless it reduces our taxes then who gives an f. Also, nobody knows what overseeing a mail center entails, it could be nationwide funding for preventing anthrax through the mail for all we know. Try explaining $1.5M in spending funds in a single excel cell and those are the descriptions you get.

Nevertheless, I don't care if it's cut, it's not a dunk or even a point against anything I've been saying.

Another 250m.   Aren’t they averaging like a billion a day?

I remember when the left cried buying twitter for 40b was stupid because he could solve world hunger on his own (as if it’s his job)… now he’s doing it for the gov and the American tax payer and y’all got your shorts in a bunch.   Hypocrite Much?   Y’all can’t be happy about anything.   It’s why we can’t have nice things lol

Boom... Another $700m back to the American people! Elon the American hero. Enjoy your $2 in your bank, meanwhile the CFPB has returned $20billion in fraudulent fees and stolen money to American consumers with it's services. Now it's shuttered because Elon wants to run his Twitter pay service and charge fees without being bothered. How's that math for ya? This stuff really hits hard if you're a moron, unfortunately most of the public eats it up.

Unless it reduces our taxes?   Leftists want to raise taxes, go ask RV.   He wants to tax the heck out of everyone.

If they find savings enough to not raise taxes, would that work for you?

Granted we are so far in the hole that is a tall order, but if they can find savings and not spend that the taxes sent in will soon equal the budget and then we will have surplus after that and our taxes won't need to be raised anymore.  There is enough federal spending that current tax rates will cover future spending.

Is it possible to erase the projected deficit this fiscal year?  That's 2 Trillion and that would be awesome.   Would you complain if they were successful at that?   I look at what you have been posting recently and would have to say I think you would complain.   But you should answer for yourself.   Is there a reason you can think of why they shouldn't reduce spending by 2 trillion?  Because if we can't we can't do anything about the deficit but raise taxes.   And you won't get that much from all the rich dudes.

I was asked not to release this.  But I can’t hold back.  Elon is working on the next rev of Tesla and it will run on….  Drum roll…. Liberal tears.   Not only will he reduce the gov waste but will save the planet.   His master plan is to cut their blue haired programs to fund Tesla to his personal gain.

Muhahahahajajajajaajajsja.   You heard it here first guys.

If this is true.   (Or false ai generated even).  If you can’t laugh at this you may not have a soul.

God damn quoting is difficult with all these damn ads on this site. I'll vote on removing them.

Idk how I feel about the dept of education. Sounds like a similar stupid move like defund the police while expecting policing to get better. How is cutting an f ton of money from education going to make our nation better?

What specifically does the dept of education do?  And are you telling me a a 30/40/50 year old federal gov run department is efficiently?

The US Department of Education's (ED) budget for fiscal year (FY) 2024 was $268 billion

I'd be happy if this somehow turns things around for the better. I don't think it will. They want control, they want their pocketbooks lined, they want to do whatever they want without checks and balances. I don't think either of them wants what's best for the American people. Maybe Trump does, but I don't think he has a clue what actually is going to work and is relying on people like Elon to tell him what to do.

Good point, can we get DOGE to look into timing the ads?  Come on Bob & Du ( @BobDole @Husker_Du ), let's let Elon take a look.

Elon has what.  Like no house.  Or a 50k house.  He doesn’t strike me as a money / power hungry guy.  But.  It’s better than the do nothing nonsense we have today.  @pokemonster will likely come out against the pelosi insider trading and the Biden bribes… and the Obama’s and Clinton’s getting rich.   I won’t hold my breath….. but the lefties are really raging against the machine lately lol.    The thing is.   In corporate America you slash the easy stuff first when you slash things.  Bigger (imo) things are coming.   The whole 900m isn’t a lot of $$$ jokes are going to get more serious in a few weeks/months/years.

elections matter boys.  Run someone who can say words in a row.  Maybe you would have done better.  Maybe don’t lie to Americans for years that Biden can think on his own.   Americans voted for this.   Lefties now gotta live with this.

Chelsea Clinton worth what.  70m?    I’m sure that was all on the up and up.

The local ones are already shyte enough ruining the cities they “work in”.    Brandon Johnson in Chicago comes to mind.

we need little elons to go after local / state / city gov next.   I think local gov is more corrupted than federal if you can believe that.

Did it work?  Sometimes people need a good slap to wake them from their delusions.

This isn't pedantics.

Musk is not president.  He is not all powerful.  He is advising on how to make the government more efficient, in alignment with Agenda 47, in alignment with what the majority of the country supports.

Musk is basically the acting president. In all but title. Trump is riding in the back seat.

You're a sucker if you don't see this.

Maybe I missed it but what happened to Vivek?  Is he out of DOGE?

He dropped out of doge - and, afterward, decided on his new future.

I have to give him credit for seeing how ugly Musk's venture was becoming and running for the hills.

Smart move.

Come on, you can’t be serious.

Heard about the US taking over Gaza lately? And making it into the Middle East Riviera? It's a beyond stupid claim.

How about taking over Greenland or the Panama Canal? Claims that are so incredibly dumb.

And Canada? Eliminating the country and making it into a US State? Such a pile of dumb, but this may be top of heap.

... and you want to discuss what is "serious"?

What is serious is Musk and his doge weapon that he is using to manipulate the govt in order to enrich himself and his agenda.

What isn't serious are the fool's errands Trump has been sent on to occupy him in the meantime.

Trump is in the backseat, Musk is driving. That much is open and obvious. Might as well call him President Musk.
