Permission to use my data??

Wtf is going on with this site. Logged in and I get a pop up that Intermat is requesting to use and sell my data. Such a shame that themat.com boards shut down. The intrusive ads are one thing but they cranked it up a level with collecting and selling data. Need to explore other forums, any suggestions?

I asked ChatGPT a question about wrestlers from the Lehigh Valley, and it gave me a response with its sources.  I clicked on the sources to see where it was getting the info - and one of the sources was actually a post that I had made a year ago on this forum (LOL!)

This is good no?  Some of us are getting old and can't remember what we posted last week much less last year.  Sounds like ChatGPT will allow us to have conversations with our younger selfs.

Intermat should get a cut from ChatGPT for scraping its data, and then we should get a cut from Intermat for making our data scrapeable, then we should all pool our monies to develop a new AI that creates and posts Sunday JOMBO Comics everyday.

It is a concerning issue, billions of dollars are being spent on all the big data centers to store our data. They already use our data to influence elections, who knows what else they are using our data for.  I got a feeling everyone is gonna be pissed about all the data collection in the future.

Pretty common over the years for "journalists" and media to use stuff that is posted on here. If you are an old-timer on here. you know that FLO was grabbing topics and threads off here to put in their podcasts and to write articles a number of years ago.It won't be long where we may need to protect our board from thievery....
