Nicky Skeletor was a 0x placer, 1x NQ, and had zero wins at NCAAs when he left for Rutgers.

The only gent on the roster who fits that mold ks Facundo.

He clearly would have been an AA that year at PSU had he been able to wrestle at the NCAAs.

I believe the “Suriano level” comment was more about his potential, not necessarily what he’s already accomplished.  Although IIRC I saw a poster saying one of the rumor-starter’s comments about the PSU guy was that he was “more accomplished than SVN,” although I did not see that comment personally.  Which would pretty much only leave Haines and Mesenbrink as options, which I doubt.

No he wouldn't have.  He was physically incapacitated.

Even if he was completely healthy, as the 3 seed there was still a 17% probability he does not AA.

Edit: Restated for the Iowa fans in the audience, there was an 83% he AA'd.

He mentioned Kasak as having trouble keeping up on grades and doesn’t go to or enjoy the classroom. No clue if true or not, but I would imagine Kasak is not the first nor last to fit this description.

Does Rutgers not have grades or classes?
