Wuh? The left and the media? The Republicans are now in charge.
That election is done and over. You think vilifying the left and the media is what is needed now? I don't think so.

Wuh? Democratic voters don't believe in science? Half the voting citizens in the US? I don't think so.

Wuh? These are the people that run the biggest US corporations. They are dumb? I don't think so.

Wuh? "The military needs purged"?  I don't think so.

This board is open to the world. Literally, anyone can post. North Koreans, Chinese, Russians, Iranians.... any a-hole.

But, that doesn't mean that a-holes aren't noticed when they post.

This appears to be a whole lot of un-American posting right here - and it isn't by accident.

It takes so few people to infect large social media audiences, and each can easily infect many dozens of sites per day.

America's enemies have been using social media to divide Americans for much longer than this board has existed.

What is surprising is that Americans, for the most part, still refuse to accept the reality of what is happening.

(Perhaps it's because the bad guys keep trying to attack anyone that sounds the alarm?)

I think you are conflating concern for military readiness for unamerican posting.   If the military has reduced readiness and lethality due to their move to equity justice, is it un american to point that out?   They are missing their recruitment targets.   That necessarily affects military readiness.  Is it un american to point that out?  For those that want reduced military budget, are they un american for taking that position?

Our military is still WAY too big and costly, like a fat bloated pig of waste and corruption. Needs to be literally gutted.

Not specific to Democrates. Yes more than half (way more) the population do not believe in science. Sure many believe th science they want to believe in but they don't believe in specific scientific research or in general.

Couple examples related to covid.  There was a very well done controlled statistical study on marks.  Dont remember exact location (that doesn't matter) let's just say Africa.  One group mask pretty sure n95 the other no mask. They had to wear them correctly.  Study found mask had pretty much little to no effect.  They were statitically different than no mask but made no meaningful difference.

Second wZ the good research  did Dr. Jay Bhattacharya did out of Stanford.  He is trained in economics and medical research.  Did very good work on thing like effectiveness & economics of lockdowns. Actually conducting statistical sampling studies of covid approaches etc.  Pretty much ignore because it didn't fit the politics just like the mask study.

University of Illinois also did some good research on effectiveness of different types of mask.  Ignored - no one cared whether it was effective you just needed to be seen with a mask even if you were only wearing it over your chin.

My son's orthodontist wasn't a fan either...loved that guy...didn't have to wear one when I took my son in...hmmm...no one got sick in his office and I didn't get sick...how can that be???

I remember when you were a walking death sentence to everyone around you if you id not wear a  mask.  Even Rachel Maddow had to re-calibrate her thinking when the mandate went away.

That's what you've got? You obviously do not understand what the word conflating means.

I never said anything about "military readiness" - that is all your post. You are as un-American as anybody gets.

After all this time posting, who knew you'd be a foreign plant. I did. You pretended to be from MSP - it was EZ to see.

Don't speak for me.

You are a foreign stooge pretending to be an American. And you suck at it.

Plus the ineffectiveness of masks has been known for ever.  Our vet was not a fan of the mask mandate.

And now, years after the pandemic ended - you bring up "masks" again, seriously? And your "vet"!?

100% stooge. You are a POS nothing poster, from some anti-US country. I don't even care which one.

The dirt on the bottom of my boot is more important than you.

We definitely should have done some better studies on masks.  I believe the one you’re referring to was in Bangladesh, and it found a statistically significant impact of about 11% - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9036942/.

By definition, a statistically significant finding is a “meaningful difference.”

Interesting study but pretty sure not the one I remembered, believe a different location and approach.  But it brings up a good point of except for Dr J B's and very few others work we didn't hear of many statistical studies in the US.

It all boils down to what you learn in ivy league microbiology 101 and ivy league physics 101.  You measure how big the virus is and how big the holes in the mask are.  In the case of the covid virus and any mask that doesn’t have a pressurized system to filter the air, the holes are bigger.  It was described as similar to putting up chicken wire to keep mosquitoes out.

I think Rock Lobster needs to go take an another break for a bit and come back again with another name.  Posts are getting increasingly emotional.

"Emotional"... coming from you

Holy cow Rasta, you basically broke down and cried here on more than one occasion. And you, of all people, then try to use the word "emotional" as a judgmental criticism? Are you sure that's the way you're going to play this?

I don't dislike you. You can be a somewhat fussy, and considerably self-absorbed. But you seem fine for the most part.

I didn't dislike mspart - until it crossed the line and showed who it really was.

It's part of the gig. Anonymous message boards tend to work themselves out in unexpected ways.

Most likely, because nobody in his office was infected at that point in time. That's how that could be.

I hate that you brought it up yet again. It's pathetic that we have to keep having this argument. But you're a bonehead if you believe that high quality N95 masks aren't effective against Covid (and multiple other airborne viruses.)

Masks work - ask literally any medical professional in the country. Nobody goes into an OR without wearing a mask...

Just stop banging the stupid 'masks don't work' drum now. It's an ignorant drum beat nobody needs to hear.

You seem eager to join the ranks. That's a choice.
