He's got no end game for this BS.

What are the flo bros gonna talk about?!?

Maybe he is pausing to take a look at some good Community College wrestling programs?  🙅‍♀️

One pay off that would have me apologizing for my comments on the subject is if it got down to PSU and "mystery school" and live on Flo Bassett whips out a Julliard hat before shredding jazz flute.

And we thought the Lebron "Decision" a few years back was self-aggrandizement.

Oh well, he is still a high school kid and science tells us that brain development continues until about age of 25 or 26.

Slowing it down is good news, and hopefully he just ends the whole "process of elimination" thing altogether.  I was never a fan, as it was pretty insulting to the schools that were scratched off first.  It's like team captains choosing dodgeball teams in gym class by alternating picks, except you start by eliminating the person you most want NOT to be on your team, and going in reverse.  Bleh. Bo seems like a good kid but I think he'll wince when he looks back on this in a few years.

Top of the line character for someone who wants to be the face of a program.

I'm already stocking up on popcorn for the senior year heel turn. Wouldn't be the first Bo to do it.

17 year old junior...

https://uww.org/athletes/bassett-bowen-william

He is either already 18 or will be 18 before 1/1/2025.

Previous reports have him turning 19 in March 2025 and 20 as a senior March 2026.

He beats college level guys, so age isn't an issue when wrestling U20 worlds; however he will 100% be 18 as a junior.  Possibly 19.

I kind of hope that he is literally the last top 50 recruit in the class of 2026 to commit.  Still whittling down his list August 2026.  Who saw that coming?

It could also be Blaze as the last to commit.  For opposite reasons. (does everything quietly, by comparison)

Smart move ... he'll be able to drink beer as a freshman in college not have to wait around till senior year like most college students.  🍺

Yes.  It is crazy to look back on... but I may have been the same age as him when I was a college sophomore.

Bo and his parents are just trying to keep him in front of the other top recruits on social media.

Bo should step back and learn from these guys.

For the very top rated guys, it may be that patience pays off with competing NIL offers?  Who wouldn't enjoy a bidding war for your services?

Holding out could also work against a kid. We're talking about wrestling, which doesn't have deep pockets like the NIL collectives that drive football & basketball. Funds could run dry as other wrestlers are signed, or a collective might decide to splurge on another top guy. If money is a huge factor for BB, it might be in his best interest to be transparent and ask for best and final offers up front while the money's available and there's an appetite.
