Three grand can be life changing!

I think you underestimate the number of individuals that own businesses who have are interested in being associated with a D1 program.  Friend of mine's son has a NIL deal with a local business for $300-400 per month.  Gets a little more to make appearances.  The program is in the top 20-25 range.  Wrestler is ranked in the 20-30 range at his weight and there are 4-5 starters with higher rankings on the team.

OK... so $300 a month is life changing?

Sorry, responded to the wrong message.  I was referencing the one by someone else saying "maybe 20 wrestlers getting more than 1-2K a year off of NIL at the D1 level."  I'm saying if the 5th-6th best kid on a 20ish ranked team is getting $3000-5000 a year, its way more than 20 kids getting over $1000.  And the top kids are getting way more money than that poster believes.

Basically a free portion for rent.  I know I would have loved 300 a month in college.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

$300-$400 a month the entire year, or just during the season?

Curious how upset Johnny D is that Magic Man poached Snorter McFlorter...
