I've seen that gesture done a number of times in MMA and it's always been well received. The winner is basically saying that it was a hard-fought match and the loser has nothing to hang their head about. Whether you like it or hate it, it was clearly done with good intentions and that's worth noting, especially for AJ

Anthony had a strange match in a loss with Mosher last night. Mosher complaining about getting hands in the face and then getting a head right in the nose. Not sure it was dirty  he was blast doubling stuff happens. Lot of blood time lungers.
