Man, that's tough for OSU.  Two major incidents in one year for the team to deal with.

I wish him a speedy recovery I cannot imagine how his family must be feeling having already lost a child, prayers for Tom and his family.

The Ryan family is no stranger to tragedy. No doubt their strength will pull them thru this lasted setback. Wish them the best and hope for a good outcome and speedy recovery.

Ohio State is cursed. First Sasso gets shot and then this.

First Snyder left for NLWC, then Kerkvliet, then Sasso, then this.

A great thing about Ryan is that he isn't afraid to speak his mind and advocate for his wrestlers every single step of the way.  Even if he is wrong, he isn't wrong because that is what you do.  You defend yours.  Fortunately, they have a great staff and he has probably one of the best support networks on the planet that is capable of said support.

No lie - I was hit in a hit and run today for the third time since moving to Los Angeles in 2016.  I am blessed though to be physically fine and I can only hope the same for Tom Ryan.

Tom Ryan is a great coach and a class act.  I hope he makes a full recovery and continues to do great things with our sport.

Anytime I listen to an interview with Tom I always walk away thinking to myself how fortunate his wrestlers are to have him as their leader. Thankfully it is not life threatening and that’s good news. It’s also nice to see all the words of support he’s getting from the wrestling community including in this forum. Get well soon Tom Ryan!

Hopefully he makes a full recovery. He has repeatedly had to deal with tragedy and challenging circumstances throughout his life (of course his own family, but also paddock and recently sasso) and still has such a positive/uplifting perspective on life.  He’s a great voice and leader in the sport.

"broke his femur and had some breaks in and around his knee"

yikes - that is rough.  I am no physician, but some broken femurs cannot be casted and need a rod implanted.  Hoping this is not as bad as it sounds and he can make a quick recovery.
