Big for the team race. Bucks need to wrestle their butts off tomorrow to stay in the running.

I said in another thread that five was generous. I'll be happy with that...

As far as ranking go Cardenas is a returning AA , Allred lost in the R12

Allred was unlucky to face the man-mountain Cardenas in the evening. He must balloon up to 210+ after a couple of meals and will now have to sleep in a sauna tonight.

Cardinal is doing @Gus proud today

He wrestled great today! He’s got his confidence going and 133 is wide open this year for those last few AA spots.

My attention span and a split screen is a bad combination.  Completely missed it.  Howd he catch him?

Feldman ran up against a 285 who is just as quick with a bit more experience who also prefers neutral. 13-5. No shame there...

Yongers single leg spin out defense had Feldman flustered. Will need to get that figured out in the film room

While true, three out of his four opponents in NCAAs were finalists, two were champions.  He went 2-2. defeating Max Dean, losing to the champ Nino Bonaccorsi and last year's runner up Jacob Warner.  Tough draw.

3 of Cardenas opponents were national finalists as well , lost Sloan the runner up in the R16, the Warner in wrestlebacks and Dean for 7th

Has someone started the "I enjoyed the Meyer Shapiro projected 4 timer era" thread yet?

I started, but didn't have the strength to finish it. eleven hours and twenty minutes of wrestling. 💪

Crazy tournament ... Griffith beat...Munoz out... Shapiro looks unstoppable then looks very stoppable... some tough matches.

Andonian is a hard guy to use as a benchmark. There are obvious positive to take away for Shapiro. He stayed positional sound the entire match and never gave in to any of the crazy stuff Andonian goes for, but Andonian will happily go down by double digits just to try and put a guy to his back. And the 3 point takedown really punishes sloppy wrestling. Results against him, win or lose, don't translate well to matches against any other wrestlers.

Kinda surprised by how poorly Oklahoma state and Michigan are doing team score wise. Obviously missing some big guns, but not having a great tournament.

The Shapiro is unbeatable era is over, but don't be too quick to bury him. He is still very talented and can produce big things.

How crazy would it be if those were his only losses?  And here we are talking about them in real time.

Ya pretty crazy lol
