Just giving my opinion (which Is the opinion the B1G coaches will have once seeding comes out). At the end of the day it will all play out at B1Gs. They will have to hit each other then so it's kind of a moot point.

I'm as big a PSU fan as there is. That being said, if Byrd runs the table, IMO he deserves the #1. Wrestled All-Star, hasn't missed a dual (that I know of). His schedule is not on him. I know it's not in any criteria, but being defending champ should be worth something (it is, since Bryd is ranked 1 in every poll solely based on him winning last year and hasn't lost this year) Blaze/Davino will meet again in B1G semi's

Ono 4-7? LOL

@nhs67 Starocci was at 100% bonus last year before hurting his knee last match. Agree with most of the takes here, but disagree completely with Kasak. That was a dominating 4-0 match. Could have had played catch and release and got bonus? I believe so. But when you ride a guy for over 4 minutes and don’t give up a point, I’m just not seeing that as a bad match only head scratcher for me was Kerk. Apparently been sick. Weighed 254 a couple weeks back and 242 last night

I don't think winning % is part of seeding criteria. I know it's part of the allocations criteria.

He was up by 1 or 2 with about 30 seconds left against Braunagle. Ended up taking him to the back for the major. Levi going to take it to him. I see a controlled 6-2 6-3 match. 2 takedowns to none. Two great champions, I just think Levi looks like he’s built for this weight, Keegan seems a little weaker.

Sorry!

They do for the rankers which impact seeding

Half the team is at the All Star event every year. Yeah they a bunch of duckers. What a dumbbell comment

Great stuff Earl

I just see it as common sense. This is an individual tournament with a team aspect. Spencer Lee's goal was to win it all. The loss must have crushed him. I'm sure he could have wrestled Saturday and came back for 3rd, but I was never one to kill the kid for not going. Now if Iowa was in the thick of things, I would have felt differently, but if I recall, they had secured 2nd at that point. That being said..who am I to judge one way or the other. As for Starocci..Not sure how anyone can say he quit. Obviously he begged to go and coach held him out (with all the drama afterwards).

Huh? I just came in and looked at your post and gave some context. I haven't read thru rest of thread. What do you mean did Starocci quit? Isn't he wrestling next week? As for Lee..if he was hurt, then no he didnt quit. If not, he did..I don't know

Yeah but only after taking out Mason Paris and securing team title for PSU. He had a pinched nerve. If it wasn't for the team, he would have not wrestled Saturday at all. Once he secured the team title his work was done

Yep. Either way that’s your 1 and 2 seeds. No one else has a shot

Losses don’t come into play. Stanch will have him beat in coaches rank. Davis will have him beat in winning %. Probably will come down to RPI

I didn’t realize Cael, Smith and Steiber wrestled in 5 NCAA tournaments.

PSU has senior night next week vs Edinboro. Nagao sick per Jeff Byers

Of course, turned on to watch what I thought would be a good dual only to see good ole Cornell without Vito or Cornella. Please Cornell..going forward, stop scheduling a great out of conference schedule when all you do is sit guys and lose. It’s one thing to sit guys and win. It’s unbelievable how many times they lose because guys don’t take the mat

The difference is MM has DeSantos pace and a million different offensive attacks and DeSanto had 1

My LOL was you saying you can see Caliendo winning a rematch?? Are you joking? He’s lucky he didn’t get majored and I would predict that or worse next time they wrestle. not sure what the hell you watched to pick Caliendo in a rematch

LOL

You don’t need B1G+ tonight. If you have B1G10 Network just record it. If not, do a free trial with YouTubeTV, DirectTVstream etc and record it

Welp..I'm going to do it.. Davis dec 3-0 Nagao dec 6-0 Bartlett dec 9-0 Kasak dec 12-0 Haines dec 15-0 Messenbrink MD 19-0 Star MD 23-0 Truax dec 26-0 Brooks MD 30-0 Kerk MD 34-0 I'm sure Iowa will get one or two, but I'm not predicting it. IMO there are pickems at 125, 141, 149 and 157..but based on what Ive seen, I give PSU slight edges in each

Great Stuff Earl!
