Just giving my opinion (which Is the opinion the B1G coaches will have once seeding comes out). At the end of the day it will all play out at B1Gs. They will have to hit each other then so it's kind of a moot point.

I'm as big a PSU fan as there is. That being said, if Byrd runs the table, IMO he deserves the #1. Wrestled All-Star, hasn't missed a dual (that I know of). His schedule is not on him. I know it's not in any criteria, but being defending champ should be worth something (it is, since Bryd is ranked 1 in every poll solely based on him winning last year and hasn't lost this year) Blaze/Davino will meet again in B1G semi's

@nhs67 Starocci was at 100% bonus last year before hurting his knee last match. Agree with most of the takes here, but disagree completely with Kasak. That was a dominating 4-0 match. Could have had played catch and release and got bonus? I believe so. But when you ride a guy for over 4 minutes and don’t give up a point, I’m just not seeing that as a bad match only head scratcher for me was Kerk. Apparently been sick. I don't think winning % is part of seeding criteria. I know it's part of the allocations criteria.

He was up by 1 or 2 with about 30 seconds left against Braunagle. Ended up taking him to the back for the major. Levi going to take it to him. I see a controlled 6-2 6-3 match. 2 takedowns to none. Two great champions, I just think Levi looks like he’s built for this weight, Keegan seems a little weaker.

I just see it as common sense. This is an individual tournament with a team aspect. Spencer Lee's goal was to win it all. The loss must have crushed him. I'm sure he could have wrestled Saturday and came back for 3rd, but I was never one to kill the kid for not going. Now if Iowa was in the thick of things, I would have felt differently, but if I recall, they had secured 2nd at that point. That being said..who am I to judge one way or the other. As for Starocci..Not sure how anyone can say he quit. Obviously he begged to go and coach held him out (with all the drama afterwards).

Huh? I just came in and looked at your post and gave some context. I haven't read thru rest of thread. What do you mean did Starocci quit? Isn't he wrestling next week? As for Lee..if he was hurt, then no he didnt quit. If not, he did..I don't know

Yeah but only after taking out Mason Paris and securing team title for PSU. He had a pinched nerve. If it wasn't for the team, he would have not wrestled Saturday at all. Once he secured the team title his work was done
