This is not a scramble. Labriola had been ridden for nearly a minute at that point. On the restart, he was trying to do something/anything against a guy who beat him in progressively more dominant fashion in every bout of their college careers, including a demoralizing defeat at the B1G championship less than two weeks before the NCAAs.

Let's not frame this as if Labriola and Sta(l)rocci were on level terms and one guy got caught.

Back to the topic: Arnold isn't ready for Sta(l)rocci, Twitter/X bravado aside. He might be able to keep the score closer than a tech fall by not engaging, holding and blocking - much like he did in the third period and most of the match against Feldkamp, but that doesn't mean the version we saw against Iowa State is in any way ready for Sta(l)rocci.

They were absolutely not on the same level.  They were separated by more than one tier at that point.  Labriola didn't have a fart's chance in a shit storm there - my opinion then and now.

He pinned Labriola. Come on, now you are doing a Jimmy Cinnabon tribute.

I fully agree, as I did then.  However, Labriola flopped to his own back out of frustration/desperation in order to create something.

🤣.

It WAS 100% a scramble.  Labriola flopped to his back out of desperation, trying to create a scamble to make something happen.  I agree he was frustrated and was trying to make something happen.  But it wasn't a turn for Starocci.  Just stop pretending it was!

On the other hand, I am fully in agreement that Arnold is not nearly ready for Starocci.

Did he flop or was it a scramble? I'm confused now. I have so many questions:

  • If only one guy is scrambling, is it a scramble?
  • If one guy lets another guy roll to his back, is it a scramble?
  • If you try to create a scramble but no scramble happens, is it a scramble?
  • If no one claims that it was a turn, can they be pretending it was?
  • If the top guy doesn't secure the bottom man, can he pin him? Did he pin himself?

😆

If we are going off the way it should be gone off of - with the victors writing the books, then it was a flop that Sta(l)rocci 100% anticipated and stuck him with.

I believe Sta(l)rocci even eluded to him anticipating that.

is brooks short?

I know he Heights in for every match.  I believe for the season he's trying to maintain around 5' 9" and try to push it to 5' 10" but I believe during the off-season he stands closer to 5' 8"

I'm not on Twitter. Can you post the actual tweets, please?

It was a response to Willie’s crystal ball article, saying exactly what is up there. He’s the man, tons of love for him, but 184 was a one time thing.

According to Elon Musk, yes.

Don't see what you are talking about.  A url is not a company or company/business name.  Maybe this will help.  🙂
