Does All-American Nelson Brands being defeated by the art of the takedown count as an upset?

No, only if he'd lost in an escape stall slugfest.

Illinois destroyed Arizona State today, holy shit.

Luffman over Schultzy was in there.  Scoles over Ruiz as well.

Trees over the Cyclones.

Ed Ruth loses to Binghampton.

Ebert finished below 0.500 last year at 174lbs as a backup for Binghampton last year.

Not sure what that was all about, but it wasn't a size thing.

you get my meaning, don't need ASU dropped in a year, hoping the reality is that Illinois is just that good.

Well maybe not "overrated" after all Edmond Ruth is The Destroyer of Worlds.  That said it could be a 2-1 match decided by a stall call.

They're different weights, though (now).

Will we have to do a catchweight? 🤣

we can figure out the weight as soon as we discuss what it means to be overrated.

What is going on with Meyer Schapiro? Noggin busted?

Happy to see a Harvard upset, but not like this. Shapiro kept holding his head after failing on an inside trip, and hitting the mat.

Am I reading the results correctly? Did Camacho drop 3 matches today? Oof. He was my ghost pick for champ this year.

Yes lost 1-0 to Babin (Pitt), 12-0 to Seymour (Lehigh), and 11-1 to Sotelo (Harvard)

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Curious if it is a weight thing.  Perhaps 133 is calling for him?

At the same time, teammate and RS freshman Vince Robinson went 3-0, beating some of the guys who beat Camacho (Seymour, Sotelo).  Any chance Camacho loses his starting spot his senior year?

Wrestlestat already went ahead and made the switch.  I'd bet Camacho  would challenge for 133 since Robinson has been having so much success at 125

I think you're right. Those duals right before Christmas maybe?

Yep that’s right. Dropped three straight to Noto, Trevor Anderson and McCrone
