Iowa has released their probables for this weekend.

https://hawkeyesports.com/news/2023/11/01/notes-no-2-iowa-opens-season-at-california-baptist/

Cal Baptist also had their own release.

Match of the night is likely Nathan Haas VS Brennan Swafford at 184lbs, right?  Wrestlestat currently has it as a 9-8 Decision victory for Swafford and a 38-0 shutout in favor of the Hawkeyes.

You write about Swafford more than his own brother. You guys related? Used to lift at the Y together?

I have written about him four... five hundred times.  If that.

Leave his brother out of this.

I miss your point.

Just a reminder: It's not Cal-Baptist, or Cal Baptist. It's California Baptist. (got an e-mail from their sports information department a year or two ago about this)

While I can appreciate brand management, sometimes you are what the people say you are. Resistance is futile.

Credit to the Cal Baptist SID for sending the email that his boss told him to send because someone saw a Tweet.

I was saying you in a general way to indicate most folks out there.  But maybe your grandmother can set up a trust on an LLC in your name so you can get in on the action.

Maybe they can clarify if they are Hard Shelled Baptists, Southern Baptists, Primitive Baptists, American Baptists, Free Will Baptists, Landmark Baptists, Missionary Baptists, Regular Baptists, Old Regular Baptists, or any of a number of others?

Being in California, maybe they are Surfing Baptists?

Guess what the school web address is? https://calbaptist.edu/

The silliness of "Exact Name" is not unique to these guys.

The Mormons main group in Salt Lake City gets pissy about "call us by our full name" too. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - and their "prophet" insists that using MORMON is "a Victory for Satan".

Try http://www.mormon.com   and see what comes up.

Those gents should have chosen an easier name to say.  One where a breath isn't needed midway (best-case) and doesn't take three business days to get through.

Some people use a specific permutation of LSD.
