Just landed in DC. The old gentleman in the seat next to me asked me if I was going to get things straightened out, because the country needs us. I was left wondering how he knew about this thread.

I, for one, am glad you are running point on this.  Thanks for your service to our country!

You all don't feel like you're trapped in a game of the boy that cried wolf?

I stopped following this merry-go-round after Gymmy J. It's pretty clear that they don't have the ability to elect someone.

Why when follow?

Why are Democrats not allowed to vote their conscious or vote for what their constituents would want? Once elected it seems like they are told exactly how to vote on everything.

He said he quit doing that years ago. Way before the internet and social  media.

Did he actually say he quit or just he's being careful to keep it hidden now?

Whats that saying:  you can lead a zebra to water but you can't change its stripes.   🤔

Johnson is the new speaker,  220-209.   First vote.   This guy knows how to get things done.  Or even the Rs were tired of being viewed as complete jerks.

You think their conscious…and constituency, is telling them to vote for a MAGA candidate??  You can’t be serious.

Did you even happen to notice the HUGE difference in the Republican ballots last week that were on the public floor vs behind closed doors?

You need to think this through better.

I should have been a little more explicit. In general, over the last several years or so. In the recent vote I wouldn't expect them to vote for a republican for speaker of the house.
