ugarles Posted October 12, 2023 Share Posted October 12, 2023 afaik cornell doesn't use wrestle-offs, but when it was close Koll would appear to use results in early season opens like Kaloust Bearcat at Binghamton or NY States to pick the starter. I thought Chaz Tucker got the starting spot at 133 in 2018-19 by beating Arujau (though to be fair the plan may have been for Arujau to go 125 all along). Recently many programs have been live-streaming their wrestle offs on YouTube or their facebooks. The only one that I know that will be streamed will be Iowa State and that will be on Rokfin. It is open to the public and well-timed to end so folks can head over to Memorial Stadium for the football game with Stupid Wisconsin. Football starts at 3:30pm. Forecast is for 0% chance of precipitation from 10am to 8pm. Then, it ticks up to 1%. High of 69° and partly cloudy. I haven't heard of a livestream at this time. There are slots in the starting lineup on the line. Moreover, since the first action of the year is a dual, this looks like the way--or at least one of the ways--the staff will determine a starting lineup.
