Well, something is amiss with Fix. Question is, what? Is it an injury? Is it that people have figured him out? Is it something else, or a combination of things? And what does Fix do about it? Now I don’t know if Fix has any eligibility left, his Bio says that he’s a Redshirt Senior, but there’s the Covid year and an Olympic year, so idk. But if he’s done with college does he stay or does he make a move to another RTC?

Guessing he didn't find a suitable replacement for daddy's water bottle.

And how the heck is daddy still the RTC coach after that??  The only explanation IMO is they know it wasn't actually daddy's.

Situation is what it is. Pretty clear actually watching him wrestle that he hasn’t been the same since.. things happened.
Hold no ill will to him. Just is what it is

It is pretty certain his leg attacks haven't improved since he's been off the SARMs.

he won a senior world silver medal after his "incident"...

you guys should really get at least a very small grip...

Very specifically said, “watching” him actually wrestle.

You know it doesn't work like that around here. Folks would rather double down than get a grip.

FRL brought up a good point that while it may not really be HEW, he does have a lot of miles and isn't exactly super young in wrestling terms anymore.

Field wasn’t nearly what it would normally be. In a non Olympic weight in an Olympic year. Again, no I’ll will towards him personally. I’m also well aware you’re friends with the family. Just me watching him wrestle.

My relationship with the family is immaterial to the discussion…

he popped in 2020…

his wrestling changed after 2017…

people make up there own “facts” to fit whatever narrative they want to put forth…

you are not unique in this…

His wrestling changed when he had to constantly wrestle other grown men you mean. Not really twisting facts for a narrative bud

Which was considerably before he popped…

If you aren’t twisting facts, what exactly are you doing?

I could poke holes, but I know you’re a fan of his. I don’t particularly care. Just looking at the situation as I see it. What I know about PEDs, high level competition, cutting weight and the rest.

If you want to believe that it didn’t affect him. Go ahead

You are more than welcome to make up more stuff to try and prove whatever you want to prove…

and me being a fan of anybody that wrestles the women’s style is a pretty strong statement…

But hey…

you do you, boo!!!

this is a situation of nashon garret being just that dude.......he is the next world medalist to surprise people

Athlete wise, he has the most potential we've seen sine jordan burroughs.

Garrett has what fix doesn't have, an ability to get to the leg, a supremely better upside potential then fix

Garrett has more offensive and defensive potential and god given talent then vito for both it's about being stronger in the middle of the mat, smarter, tougher.

i will be be betting on garret to take out vito

So when was "peak" Daton Fix vs. senior competition?

I don't think his World silver is necessarily relevant. A 2021 World silver immediately after the Olympics in a non-Olympic weight? Who did he beat? An argument can be made for 2019 being his peak. This is when he beat Gilman, arguably his best domestic win.

And HEW can absolutely be related to hormonal status. "Testosterone makes effort feel good". It also probably doesn't help to have his old man as his coach. Getting your ass chewed out by your father after losing is probably something that gets old real quick. I saw that up close in Nur Sultan and thought it was pretty lame.

Who really knows what's going on. Maybe Mastrogiovanni stole his girlfriend and he never got over it?

It will never cease to be amusing to me when anonymous internet nobodies talk any world medal down…

If there is more nuance to your argument than WORLD SILVER MEDAL, this nobody is all ears...

Think about what you just put out there…
