Good point, if looking for a warm fire, Philly might be the place for you tonight.  🔥

... Ah, so THAT's why that KC Chiefs bar in Philly was closed tonight. Seemed like an unprofitable decision.

But was probably going to turn into a "Purge" movie in real life. "Purge - Superbowl LVII, PHI's Revenge"

Wrong

James Bradberry disagrees wuth you.

From The Athletic: "Eagles cornerback James Bradberry admitted to holding Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on a critical third-down play in Kansas City’s game-winning drive in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday."

And this is what you'd call a "good hold."  The game is on the line, if the defender doesn't hold the receiver beats him to the spot where the ball is thrown and the Chiefs score a touchdown.  The penalty allows the Philly's another chance to stop them.

I feel bad for Jalen who lost the game for the Eagles.  He did so well all season and got them to the Super Bowl and threw a forward pass the wrong direction that was run in for an unopposed TD.   If not for that, Eagles win.   But Eagles did not win.   Kudos to the Chiefs - It was a great game either way.

Imagine how much property damage he just prevented.

Ain't it grand when the plan is win or lose we're gonna burn down our home town.

Part of the problem is they didn't show a good clip of the hold. Most people, including Greg Olsen, are thinking it was the left hand on JuJu's back. But it was the right hand pulling the jersey that you can barely see right at the beginning of the relay they kept showing. Bradberry got beat on that inside out move and grabbed the jersey to show JuJu down. The jersey pulling away from the body made an easy, if unpopular, call. How much are you supposed to let a DB get away with on the most important play of the game?

The number of penalties in an NFL game makes it unwatchable.
