Which is more Important?  Which do guys stay around  an extra year or two or three to win?  Which do guys come out of retirement for? Which receives more attention?  Which do you actually have to qualify for?

You know the answers to all of these, and it isn't "Worlds."

don't ever change...

there is literally nobody involved with the actual wrestling that does not all agree that worlds is tougher than the olympics...

"fans" continue to be adorable...

Have you asked James Green?  How can this be true when there are only 6 Olympic weights as opposed to 10 for worlds?  If the numbers were equal I’d agree and get it. But when you combine 2 weights (61 & 65) into 1 for example it gets considerably more difficult at those weights…no?

anyone can show up for worlds...

the gauntlet that has to be run through is ridiculous...

the olympics culls them down through the qualification process and are forced to leave many of the best at home while having to maintain quotas for the continentals...

and trust me, i am not saying winning olympic gold is easy by any stretch of the imagination...

there is not world or olympic medal that is not earned...

I saw all the new posts and assumed Greco did well overnight

Nope, 0-10 for Team USA, and LJB already trying to shift the goalposts to "the Olympics are all that matter"

The zero in 0 for 10 is bad but unfortunately expected.

Kayaalp gets dropped in the 1/4s in a pretty big upset after giving up an early arm spin for 4 to the the Fin... i cant see finland getting past heyadati which would mean Kayaalp will not get pulled back in... crazy

No challenge from Turkey's corner and at least 1 of the people in chairs paddled it good, but that looked like a questionable 4.

Granted it was from my couch, but it appeared that Kayaalp landed on his left hip, not his ass and there wasn't really any back exposure - although admittedly, I haven't kept up with the rules in a few years.

Just gross and wrong to assume his kid is going to lose his repechage match and possible Bronze match.  There are a couple people I seriously wonder what the hell is wrong with.  This and the other one (RAFwiki) talking about his wife and kids in derogatory ways.  Grow the F up!

don't stress too much over it...

it is just anonymous forum nerds hiding behind screen names that have no connection to anything and nobody that lives like that mean anything at all...

they simply do not matter in real life...

I’ve no idea who you’re taking about.

Ask a guy like Terry Brands if he would trade his Olympic bronze for one of his world golds.

The qualification process for the Olympics was different at that time and there were 8 weight classes.

He doesn't matter, he is a blase guy in charge of a room where none of the wrestlers have any ambition.

He’s not saying the Olympics are all that matters, he’s saying Worlds are harder and that’s one of the excuses for the poor showing.

Yikes…2-11. I was hoping for a much bigger exaggeration…

They are currently tied for last in 30th place with the uww refugee team and Venezuela and a few other teams.  They are sitting on zero points.
