Maybe I've missed it, but I can't find anything talking about Aaron Brooks, and why he's not competing. Is he injured? Is he done? Did he become a missionary? I'm assuming injury since he was supposed to be at the Flo event in Feb and pulled out.

Awesome boss. Enjoy. Blue cheese is great too. I don’t dip steaks per se in anything either…. But from time to time I’ll make fillet sandwiches which I do like the horseradish on.
-
It’s actually a homemade blue cheese for the veggies. Don’t do any dipping with my steaks. But I grew up an hour south of Indianapolis and am very familiar with Elmo’s.

To the first bolded part, that's not been my argument. I've NEVER said I thought he'd lose. I responded to a post as to who could stop them from winning NINE National Championships...a ridiculous number. Not that I didn't think he could or would win. To your new proposal, LOL...no! Because I said he has to take down! The point of contention was you arguing the only reason guys get ridden is a physical maturity issue. Mine is that it's... just so much more than that. A physical maturity issue, a lot of feel. You think he's going to be hitting a standing gramby and kicking out vs a tough rider? Maybe you do, I don't. If he goes the year and doesn't take down or takes down in the Black Knight Invitational...sure, he could get out. But if he wrestles it like Bastida(for example) did and he's losing 1-0 matches because he doesn't take down or more likely, winning 9-3 matches because he's giving up 3 TDs and then 3 escapes...it wouldn't really apply to the entire disagreement...right? That's why nhs was saying I should be giving you odds. So if I don't think he'll go down...and I think he might be the best Wrestler in the World...why would I want to bet on RT under THOSE circumstances? Edit-And in fact...I already addressed both of these; And...when you asked if I wanted to bet; And my response; There was other stuff in there about...why kids get ridden and all that, but this is the most pertinent. - Today

Game 3 tonight in Sunrise, FL. Had her on the full fire sear right at sunset and sat her down just as they started the national anthem. Pics to follow…

I wonder why he leaves this off his resume? https://victorysportsnetwork.com/2021/10/15/wesley-named-head-wrestling-coach-at-health-sciences-pharmacy/ Or his brief time at Wheeling University, or his time at Northwest Kansas. Might it be because of his conduct there? He was fired from all 3 places.

I sincerely doubt that's the reason. He didn't want to participate the first time around...why would that change now that it's earlier in the season? Also, most coaches are happy for former Wrestlers getting good jobs. They take pride in that. Barring some agreement that Cael was going to step down...AND Cunningham...say Cunningham's kids were done with College and then said they'd turn it over to Taylor, I don't see any reason he'd have to be upset. I don't think it's as deep as people are making it... he just doesn't want to go to an event like that as it doesn't line up with his schedule and peaking in March...which I think it lame, but I don't have reason to think he's lying. He didn't like it...what, 15 years ago or whenever it was and he doesn't like it now. Still think they should go, not debating that. It...is silly to have it without them, but... whatever. The one thing, you said go and collect the 200K. I thought it was 1M to the winner. Is it 1M in the total purse?

Ten men go out for beer. The bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay $1. The sixth would pay $3. The seventh would pay $7. The eighth would pay $12. The ninth would pay $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. He said, "Since you are all such good customers, I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80." The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men -- the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his "fair share"? They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay! And so: The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings). The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings). Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings. "I only got a dollar out of the $20," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, "but he got $10!" "Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!" "That's true!!"shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back when I got only $2 ? The wealthy get all the breaks!" "Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!" The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill! And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up any more. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier. -

The US continues to have the most restrictive (read dumbest) enhancement testing policy globally. US athletes have to pretend to do double the trouble because US olympic trials are major commercial events, and the desire to maintain sponsorship rates runs things. But again, facade, bc they don’t want slower times or achievements than the 80’s when athletes were the most beautiful fusion of chemistry, determination, and insanity. Keep sponsors happy and have a happy career, just be sure to actively hide how the sausage is made, bc reality doesn’t sell product, but whatever nonsense Jim Nantz will be told to tell the world about you does. ”The american dream, brought to you by Nike/Pepsi/Chase Financial.” -
And yes there is a policy tie, too. Trump wants to start a strategic crypto reserve. All of these investors are crypto enthusiasts. Some of the coins Trump is proposing buying in the crypto reserve are real head scratchers. Pumping up the president's meme coin to line his pockets and gain private access to him is a nice way to line their own pockets. Gee, Mr. Pesident now that I have bought your coin it sure would be nice to add my coin to the reserve.

So kind've like what happened with the Clintons when Bill resigned in disgrace to become a janitor and Hillary divorced him to later become POTUS.

I mean, if I used PEDs and still didn't make the Olympic team, I would definitely avoid the testers over the coming year. And I'd have an alibi or two: " I had retired;" "I was in IDGAF mode" and my legacy would probably be ok. Imagine the stigma of losing and then testing positive? Not to mention, he's a really bad role model for those boys at NLWC. Also: loved how : Gilman has changed... "he got away from Iowa and turned over a new leaf " instantly turned into "he's a weird dude, cut right out of the TnT mold." -

would i be floored if Thomas Gilman popped? no. but that's not what happened. there's a lot of people acting as though he was doping. this doesn't mean that, so save the outrage unless/until more comes out. The fact is, Gilman was done after his three-worlds-in-12-months run. he got too big. -
If Snyder moves to Stillwater, I'll bet his wife stay behind to 'hold the fort' or 'let the kids stay in their current school'. How utterly humiliating for her. Does she ever attend another USAW event?
