  3. Iran vs USA 57 - Momeni vs Lee- Lee favored 61 - Javan vs Jax- No idea 65 - Amouzad vs Woods- Amouzad 70 - Yazdani vs Duke- No idea 74 - Emami vs Carr- Carr 79 - to be determined, almost certainly will be Nokhodi vs Haines- Whoever Iran Sends (Nokhodi) 86 - Ghasempour vs Zahid- Should be close 92 - Firouzpour vs Hidlay- Another close one 97 - Azarpira vs Snyder- They were close last time they wrestled 125 - Zare vs Wyatt- Zare Iran is the more proven team and has more sure things, but if Jax and PJ are legit on the world stage that would make a major difference. Also from 86-97 both teams are STACKED.
  4. What a dumb President, once again. He should stay in his lane; let the league and teams do what they want w their own sport. What a profound idea, huh? Its all populism w this guy.
  5. Feels like a team that could win 8 medals. I do not think Emami or Momeni will medal but Emami certainly has a chance and while I am 50/50 on Javan I think odds would point to either him or Emami medaling.
  6. I didn't talk about 'some people', I talked specifically about "many many leaders in the native american nation", including the family of which the mascot was inspired, and what they felt about it. Conveniently disregarding that and shifting to "some people" doesn't change the fact. They're opinion carries a little more weight than those just looking for cultural political points, no matter how hard you try.
  7. 1. Using that term is basically like using the N word. It's not acceptable. Some people might not have a problem with it, but many do. Names change all the time. We had a kerfuffle about it locally because they changed a bunch of street names, school names and park names because somebody figured out the people those things were named after had been members of the KKK. 2. I don't think he really spends much time on anything. Snorting Adderall maybe? 3. Agreed.
  8. Lot of pieces to this: 1) Many many leaders in the Native American nation, including the family of the chief of the Blackfeet tribe who's image inspired the logo before the Redskins name was removed, want the name changed back. Many, many leaders never wanted the name change in the first place, as they felt it as a memorial rather than the degradation that was being hyped for cultural political points in the time of kneeling in African garb. 2) Don't pretend the President isn't addressing the economy, immigration, foreign policy and other issues that were hot topics of the election. Not everyone may agree with how he is addressing those issues, in some cases myself included, but don't pretend he's not spending time on them 3) The President of the United States should not be involved in the naming of NFL franchises and using threats to try to hold up stadium deals, particularly a republican President, when the party is supposed to be about small government.

  10. 6 of these illegals involved in crimes against children…. Many sexual crimes ICE Takes Down Convicted Illegal Alien Sexual Predators, Pedophiles Over the Weekend Release Date: July 14, 2025 Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is working around-the-clock to remove the worst of the worst from American communities WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced criminal illegal aliens arrested over the weekend—including sexual predators, pedophiles and child abusers. Despite a nearly 700 percent surge in assault against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and DHS law enforcement, officers continue to make American communities safer every day. “Over the weekend, our brave ICE agents arrested monstrous illegal aliens convicted of heinous crimes including rape of a child, sexual assault and possession of child pornography. ICE is putting their lives on the line to keep America’s children and families safe,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin “Yet, they are now facing a nearly 700 percent increase in assaults against them as gutter politicians attempt to attack and demonize our brave law enforcement. This is sick. We will only double down in getting these dangerous criminals off of our streets.” Below are some of the criminal illegal aliens arrested over the weekend: ICE Atlanta arrested Porfirio Bernal-Fregoso, a 45-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of attempted rape of child and indecent liberties with a child in Durham County, North Carolina. ICE Baltimore arrested Edwin Gomez-Cervantes, an illegal alien from Guatemala, who was previously convicted for sexual abuse of a minor in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. ICE Houston arrested Sergio Guerrero-Galvan, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, whose previous conviction includes aggravated sexual assault of child in Travis County, Texas. ICE Salt Lake City arrested Juan Hernan Camarena-Cuevas, a 32-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, who was previously convicted for child abuse/injury. ICE Baltimore arrested Rodrigo Alexander Gomez-Ventura, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador convicted in Hagerstown, Maryland for possession of child pornography. ICE San Antonio arrested Hugo Sanchez-Benitez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Houston, Texas.
  11. Sina Khalili also seems to have been inconsistent. He is young though and I think has a great future. To be honest if we take consistency as someone who medals every year at the world level in the past 5-10 years in freestyle we have had only 2 ( Hassan Y. And Zare). Others even Ghassempour or Amouzad will be considered inconsistent by that definition. But I think having someone that medals every year for more than five years or so coming along about once every 5-10 years is about as much as we can expect for Iranian freestyle wrestling. I think this is where Iran as at. Given the presence of Russia Japan USA Cuba and the central Asian republics realistically we can not expect more.
  12. The sleepless nights you two must have.
  13. I get the distinct feeling that if he could strip Native Americans of US citizenship, he would. He's shown his disdain for them and other brown people over the years.
  14. No not trying to troll just don't know what happened there. Northwestern was putting out competitive teams with studs like Tsirtis, Deakin, and Rivera. I believe northwestern had a roster limit and high admission standards too, so the coaching staff was doing very well with what they had. Something happened there. I guess it is irrelevant now.
  15. It’s a Free country here Mr Snow plow driver from MN.
  16. Agreed. I don't care at all what sports teams' names are. Not even a little bit. I've got more important things to worry about. But I do wonder why our President cares. I would think he would have many more important things to worry about. Unless he doesn't. Seems the oldest President ever elected, who has mush for brains at this point, is being manipulated by those that funded his campaign. He does what they say and is allowed his little tirades about "team names" and "flush toilets" and confusing the current reality and history with Biden as if he was still his political opponent. Like it or not, our President has been relegated to being a sideshow. Just a fat orange puppet with volume turned up to 11. His Project 2025 team is clearly running the office. Yes, the same team that got him elected. The team with deep ties to all federal departments and agencies. And when I say 'deep', I mean 'deep.' How do you all feel about the Project 2025 goals? If you aren't aware, you should read up and become aware fast. Because it's happening. And you might be unknowingly supporting it. If you care at all, pull your head out of the sand and learn what's happening.
  17. I 100% agree that everyone who feels being a donor is a good idea should register as a donor. But let's not oversimplify this. It's not necessarily for everyone. It is a personal choice and can be a spiritual one. I understand your sentiment and respect it. But at the same time - we should make room for all perspectives.
  18. C'mon JimmySpanks, you know Iranians are as great of fans of wrestling as any country. Don't be hating on Iran on a wrestling board. They deserve better.
  19. Is it weird that it’s called “Real American Freestyle” but 5 of the 14 wrestlers on this card don’t compete for America internationally?
  20. I didn't think so either. But then came the doodles of his that were sold at auction. Makes me think, and I'm just guessing here, that the wifey is a bit of a doodler. Just a theory. Not a conspiracy one. Just a regular one.
  21. No, no, not at all. It appears you didn't even read it. It was well-reasoned and rationale, with little to no emotion. You still sound like a ratface chickenhead with dogbreath.
  22. On the list of those not to believe or trust ICE is #2, right behind the fat orange turd and his constant lies. Caveira? Doesn't rank at all, because he's nothing more than a clown show. News flash for that dope. Heinous crimes are committed all the time by all kinds of people. They are all terrible, but he's trying to squeeze shock value out of it to support his constant BS about Hispanic people being bad. Here's a recent news article about a white guy from Missouri. It's horrendous. But doesn't call for deporting white guys or deporting those from Missouri. It calls for making sure this individual never sees the light of day again. BREAKING: Missouri man accused of years of heinous child sex crime In July, law enforcement officials said they submitted a probable cause statement and the suspect, Taylor W. Zander, 32, was charged with multiple child sex crimes: Bates County 2 counts of statutory rape in the first degree of a victim less than 12 years of age 4 counts of statutory sodomy as deviate sexual intercourse of a victim less than 12 years of age Child molestation in the second degree of a victim less than 12 years of age 7 counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree with sexual contact Vernon County Rape in the first degree of a victim less than 12 years of age Sodomy in the first degree of a victim less than 12 years of age Child molestation in the second degree of a victim less than 12 years of age Endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree with sexual contact Furnishing pornographic material to a minor Link: Missouri man accused of years of heinous child sex crimes
  23. Sounds more like a temper tantrum than a list of specific illegal things one could get impeached over tbh
  24. Well, thank you. I have been known to be called cute by the ladies more than once. Specifics - hmmm... let me think. How about all the crazy and illegal stuff the orange turd has been doing all year (including most of the Project 2025 stuff.) Much of which is more than ample grounds for impeachment. The list is long, just google the lawsuits against Trump and you'll find a pile of his criminal acts. (I also provided a link above if you aren't too lazy to scroll up.) But given the pathetic state of Congress right now, with Republicans being little more than Trump lemmings, impeachment would be difficult. But just like everything else. Change comes with time. Trump's approval ratings are dropping faster than a prom dress. IMO, the time to 8647 is fast approaching. He's got mush for brains and he's driving our economy downhill fast. He thinks we're dumb enough to believe his ridiculously stupid tariffs are being paid for by foreign countries. Only the foolish don't realize that US citizens are paying those tariffs. And as bad as inflation has been rising, it's only going to get worse. There will be a point where action will be required.
  25. So how are your views any different from Hitler’s? You keep going on about "freedom" and "American power", but how about using that freedom to actually educate yourself?
  26. And there's the game. Can you look at somebody and tell me who doesn't have documentation? What if somebody doesn't commit a crime? Then how are you going to figure it out? It's a fact that undocumented immigrants commit crimes at a much lower ratio than US citizens and permanent residents. Not saying everyone is perfect, but if I wasn't there with the right documents, I think avoiding anything that could alert the police to me is something I'd do. I wasn't born in this country. Neither was my wife. Her status is very clear as a permanent resident. It's still unsettling that one or both of us could get swept up.
