Backups who will make a name for themselves this season
Tyler Perry replied to TNwrestling's topic in College Wrestling
Who have you heard about? I’d love to see a guy who would be a backup this year come in. Obviously they wouldn’t be available till second semester, but Omar Oyoub from Nebraska is a U20 medalist behind Van Dee. But maybe someone like Garrett Grice, who’s burried down at Iowa State could be a good option, he’s a NQ. -

What? You want a participation trophy? -
You can’t. As liberals riot and damage far more than qanon or any right wing group by a mile.
-
Yah, well you dumb wingers think that any liberal that damages anything is an " antifa member" so yah, in your eyes, they commit a lot of violence. Your premise is the basis for your conclusion. Pure stupidity. I can do the same thing for q Anon.

So, in the end there is no feasible solution to ever fixing this problem. The colleges will never lower there prices and the federal government (the taxpayer) will always continue bank rolling the loans with little or no restrictions. I think in the last go around 5.3 million borrowers received 188.8 billion dollars of loan forgiveness.

Wrestling to make our football players better
HokieDave87 replied to tryingtomakeusbetter's topic in High School Wrestling
Wrestlers are good at football because of leverage, movement, and mental toughness. Mostly the last one. There isn't one drill that you can just add in (maybe some hand fighting on the Dline?). It really takes a full season of training with a good wrestling coach to get the attributes you want to help football players. -
One for one.

How long until VT becomes a top 3 program?
HokieDave87 replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
Both Bo and Melvin have seen what money is out there and committed to VT. Also, VT isn't poor they're still getting paid. Barring an issue with Bo's experience Melvin and Keegan will end up at VT. -
I will add that I think it is worth noting that if David Taylor did not exist Hassan Yazdani would be mentioned here and for that fact I think DT deserves a mention since he is 5-1 against him. He also has wins over Ghasempour,Hidlay,Zahid,Cox (in bo3 setting) 54-4 once he made his first team and wins over 4 previous or future world champs. I understand the Valencia and Hidlay wins were not peak version but they did both occur last year. Beating David and Kyle to me is the biggest feather in JB's cap I will not say he did not beat the best version of Kyle because I think Kyle would have won world titles if not for JB but I think its safer to say he never beat the best version of DT.

I think its Satiev but I would respect Khadartsev or Medved if that is your cup of tea.
