  1. Means a lot coming from you brother.
  2. Eh. I'd argue the opposite. When you're dealing with a situation where you're shrinking your body, it's a process that takes time. And the longer you do it, the easier it gets (unless you let yourself balloon up after every weigh-in). When you cut way down, make it once, let yourself balloon up, and then try to cut back down an extended time period later, that's harder on the body IMO.
  3. Tariq Wilson sucked down to 133 for a few years too. Then finished his career a stud 149.
  4. Love Roark. Coached him some over the years. Good friends with his older brother Will. Brady is a great kid. Excited about his future.
  5. 125: Walker/Surtin fall over Riley. 6-0 133: Byrd maj dec. Moore. 6-4 141: Pucino dec. Edmond. 7-6 149: Webster maj dec. Gioffre. 11-6 157: Kraisser fall over Conway. 17-6 165: Steed maj dec. Scoles. 17-10 174: KOT maj dec. Braunagel. 17-14 184: Hawks dec. Ruth 17-17 197: Braunagel maj dec. 21-17 285: Luffman dec. Nitzel 24-17
  6. Basch posted preseeds on Rokfin.
  7. I'd be willing to bet we see Camacho go up to 133. No way you can take Vincent out with what he's done just 3 weeks into season.
  8. 125: Meza dec Cruz/Petersen: 3-0 133: Ayala dec Frost: 3-3 141: Redding dec Block 6-3 149: Ech dec Parco 9-3 157: Teemer fall K Naak. 9-9 165: Caliendo tech Euton/Gaitan 14-9 174: Brands maj dec. Riggins 18-9 184: Arnold dec Bockman 21-9 197: Buchanan dec Carroll 24-9 285: Keuter dec Herrera 27-9 I do not see a realistic path for ISU to win. Even if Paniro goes at 157 and upsets Teemer (which I don't see happening), that makes it 21-12. If Yonger goes at 285 and majors Keuter (which I think he'd only get a decision) that makes it 21-16. They'd have to pull an upset at 133, 184, or 197 (which I think 133 is most likely but I still wouldn't pick it) to make it 19-18. An uphill battle to say the least.
  9. Assuming that means Nathan Taylor is out for the year? Or was it already known that he is?
  10. Richie Figs? ***Disregard. I knew he won NCAAs in his first time wrestling in it, but forgot he sat behind Courtney a year.***
  11. Yea I was more so trolling JC. I don't care who has transfers or how many. I don't care if they're the best wrestlers on that team or not. It's the new age of college athletics.
  12. I'd also argue that Keuter is a transfer from the football team. Football staff should get a lot of credit for his success.
  13. Don't forget Joey Cruz and Victor Voinovich were transfers as well!
  14. I always forget Nasir won a TX state title during the ChinaVirus days.
  15. Always a possibility. Especially on a college campus. But that doesn't put the blame on Rob Koll in anyway.
  16. A 23-year old man additionally. Not like Palmer is 18.
  17. Mendoza is a career 133 because of his height imo.
  18. Correct. In fact, I remember @Jimmy Cinnabon standing pat that Aaron Brooks was too short to be successful at 197.
  19. Probably Scott Patrick in 2017 (I think???). But good for that program. Coach Carr era is trending up.
  20. Yes. But intentions of transitioning to an NCAA sport in the future. I know that's not concrete but hiring two full time coaches speaks volumes imo. Not too many club teams have two paid coaches.
  21. Okie State is investing in their women's program as well. Just hired Izaak Olejnik as HC and Gas Tank Gary as AC.
  22. I don't remember him at 157. I know he wrestled off Marinelli at 165 one year.
  23. As if 157/197 were realistic options for him. Lmao
