Yes, even under the old system, it should be very clearly communicated between the coach and the trainer. "DO NOT finalize/input this until I look it over and give you the go ahead." Lack of communication from coaching staff. THAT is what is unbelievable at the DI level.

I'm very high on this kid. Gritty. Finds ways to win close matches. tOSU got a good one here. Between him and younger Bouz, their future at the middleweights looks bright.

I think his results have regressed because he is not now, nor ever been, a super technical wrestler. He won, and still wins, a lot of his matches based on his incredible athleticism. When you're young, and at a lightweight, being extremely powerful/strong/explosive/athletic is more likely to lead to wins than it is when you get older and into bigger weights. My two cents. Not saying he's not a technical wrestler. But he's certainly not as technical as you'd expect based on his results.

Hawks is better. Evidence by his resume and him making the R12 this NCAA and R16 the NCAA before. Could/should coaching staff handled the situation differently? Probably. But Hawks is the better wrestler.

He has been on record saying that the cut to 74 was difficult. I think this is common knowledge.

MM is arguably better at FS than Folk. And we know the cut is a thing for JB (hence why he's been at 79 kg). I think it's definitely interesting.

He may be. I truly don't know. I just know Cruz was a mega recruit coming out of HS.

Certainly not an upgrade over Drake. But is he an upgrade over Joey Cruz? If they want to move Ayala up, why not just roll with Cruz? I don't see Flynn being much of an upgrade over him (if at all). And yes, I'm salty because I had Flynn on my NCAA Fantasy Team and he didn't hold up his end of the deal.

I'm not sure about that. He's pretty small. I think it's more likely it's connected to Brewer leaving. They seemed pretty close, as a lot of lightweights have with Brewer (Seabass, Flynn, Ventresca, Latona, Korbin Myers).
