  1. How I felt trying to read this...
  2. Yes. Penn State's backup 133 having a season ending injury opens up the team race. If the other teams don't get them now, because of this, they'll never get them.
  3. Correct. There's a 0% chance a guy who goes to Penn State, made the finals last year and lost in the second to a guy who he previously beaten, wins a title this year. Absolutely no chance.
  4. I may have misunderstood. I thought I needed #1-10 seeds, and THEN an US. But Seems like half of us took the instructions one way and the other half the other way.
  5. 125: Troy Spratley (Okie State; #3) 133: Jacob Van Dee (Nebraska; #8) 141: Joshua Koderhandt (Navy; #5) ***Coached him in high school fwiw.*** 149: Gabe Willochel (Wyoming; #7) 157: Teague Travis (Okie State; #10) 165: Brock Mantanona (Michigan; #9) 174: Dean Hamiti (Okie State; #2) 184: TJ Stewart (Va Tech; #4) 197: Luke Surber (Okie State; #6) 285: Wyatt Hendrickson (Okie State; #1) Unseeded: Grigor Cholakyan (Stanford #157)
  6. I want him out of there ASAP tbh.
  7. I wouldn’t hate that hire for them.
  8. Not good. In all seriousness, if Bono were to get canned, who would they get to replace him? Realistically speaking, because we all know the Cunningham/Cody Sanderson/Bryan Snyder types would not be interested (based on their history of not being interested in other jobs). So what names would be in the candidate pool?
  9. I agree with this. And that was my whole point with Barr. I know how good he is, really damn good. Him beating Lucas Cochran and Mirasola did nothing for me because I ALREADY KNEW HE WAS GOOD.
  10. Thank you. That's exactly my point!! I never said Barr wasn't good. In fact, I said the opposite. But these two wins, which are the best on his resume, do not justify him being ranked any higher because those two guys don't have a college resume themselves. Flo and IM agreed exactly with what I said. Do I think there are 20+ guys at 197 better than Barr? Hell no. But these two wins don't mean much.
  11. So Mirasola's biggest accomplishment to you is a match he ALMOST won and got a single takedown in? Yea, you're right, you absolutely were a scrub based on this thought process.
  12. Lmao. Everyone getting mad because I said exactly what FloWrestling and Intermat said when they ranked Barr #21/#23 following these wins. Barr is really good. But these wins don't justify him being ranked top 10. Just give him time.
  13. Didn't he have a shot and he lost it in wrestle-offs? Wouldn't you rather McCallister over him (since he beat him)?
  14. To this point, following the Black Knight Invite, FloWrestling has Barr ranked #21 and InterMat has him #23. The two biggest ranking services must be "very hard to impress".
  15. It's better than yours I promise you that
  16. Can someone who's a Univ. of Wisconsin fan chime in and let me know what the incoming recruiting class(es) look like?
  17. ***I heard from my cousin's roommate's physical therapist's mother-in law that Spratley drinks water, not gatorade, at practice. The guy is really locked in.*** I mean come on. Of f*cking course the guy is not scared to go with anyone. You can say that about any D1 guy ranked in the top 20 of any weight class.
  18. No too mention the obvious abuse he went through at home during his childhood. I think he was dealt a bad hand from the start.
  19. I don't hate that. I think it's safe to say Carter Young is not where people thought he'd be at this point of his career. I agree that I was impressed with Cutter this weekend. Lost a close one to a ranked guy then blew the doors off the ASU kid (who is a backup). But I was impressed with his effort/output in both matches, and that was a weight up from his natural weight.
  20. Major decisions over a lifetime backup and a kid fresh out of high school? Not impressive to me. I think Barr is going to be (or already is) really good. But I don't think either of these wins say anything.
  21. Oh you mean Younger Bautista.
  22. Great film. As for your question, I'd say very limited, if at all. Chance admitted that he was doing a variety of drugs in HS. And I doubt JWS ever encouraged him to do (more) drugs.
  23. Got hurt. Lower body injury.
  24. Mensenbrick would be a tough matchup for anyone, even Younger Bastida.
