  1. I think you're one of few who weren't surprised by that result.
  2. You don't get out much do you? Don't watch much interviews or really read any USA Wrestling news huh? He has said multiple times he is done after this world championships. So, I guess the answer is...yes?
  3. U23 World Team just to clarify. But in regards to his college results, he is 20-5 combined for his career. Yes, he lost 7-4 to Jack last year. But, was also pinned by Kelvin Griffin (Lehigh backup) and lost 4-1 to Cross Wasilewski (who was in HS last year). His best career win is probably over his teammate Fernandez or maybe Ethen Miller (back in January of 2022) who is 2-4 in his last two NCAAs. Hard to take that resume over Fernandez or Cornella.
  4. Not a Mizzou fan. But I'm from Missouri. And the answer is no, doesn't surprise me.
  5. This is relevant imo. Combine with Bouzakis' inconsistency, I think we have a roster battle brewing.
  6. Osmany Diversent. And I believe the ideal plan for ISU at 125 is for them to redshirt both Osmany and Meza and start Grice. But Grice still needs to win the spot. At least that's how I understood it from @H82Lose.
  7. Or it could be that RBY (who went to the same HS as Vega) is now training at OSU. And that DT and co are now there and he sees them as the staff who can help him achieve his goals better.
  8. Yea most people want the 17-18 year olds to be mature enough to choose the right school, and honor it. But don't hold the 20+ year olds to the same standard. It makes sense if you don't think about it.
  9. They wrestled twice in an 8 month period (March and Nov. of 2023) and SVN won 7-2 and 5-1. Hard to say they're equal.
  10. I wouldn't fight you on it. I put him in tier 1 based on his NCAA results (splitting with Hall) and now being down at his more natural weight. But I can see why you'd say tier 2 based on his overall resume last season.
  11. I'm not Willie, but I think so. Title contenders in my eyes are: Shapiro, Kasak, Jacori, and Antrell. Podium contenders are those four, plus: Kellar, Downey, Ed Scott, Askey, Teague Travis, and Paniro.
  12. I don't understand how they can justify this part. Obviously we disagree with all of it. But the cutting from 9 to 3 scholarships, the admin can "justify" by saying they need to save money for other sports etc. But the other part. How can that be justified to anyone with a brain?
  13. I think we all would. But those cities need to put in bids. The problem is those cities (currently) have no interest.
  14. Did you go to KC? Blew STL out of the water. As a STL native, the city has gone downhill significantly.
  15. Yea I think most of us on this forum know this. But thank you.
  16. Kind of surprised by the amount of disrespect Sasso is getting here, being a 2x finalist/4x AA. Do I think he beats MM? Absolutely not. But y'all are acting like the dude is JV and that is wild to me.
  17. Is Mesenbrick of relation to Gable Stevenson?
  18. https://gocolumbialions.com/news/2024/9/18/jeff-buxton-hired-as-assistant-wrestling-coach.aspx Columbia assembling a nice staff. They have a lot of factors working against them (location, Ivy League, administration). So to see them assemble a nice staff is good. Wish these guys the best.
  19. I feel like he's one of the NFL players that you hear rumors about 'making a comeback' as soon as another player gets hurt.
  20. Endene leaving Wisco. Anyone know where he's headed?
  21. Yea, as much as I would love all 4 to add, I think there is nearly a 0% chance.
  22. I'd flop Jamison and Young. But I think you got the rest.
  23. Can confirm.
  24. They won't.
