As far as I am concerned it’s one of the biggest Simp things a guy can do is name his son after another man. Almost as pathetic as this phenomenon we currently have with women naming their sons after ex boyfriends that they are still pining over 10 years later that got away in there younger years. I know 2 women I grew up with who’s sons are the name of the ex boyfriend they dated in high school.

I was crushed when we didn’t win the title that season. We still had our core group for the next season, losing Thorn, Steinhaus and Nelson but returned both Dardanes, Ness, Storley and Schiller. We brought Kroells in who AAs, Brett Pfarr came up short, we pulled Ethan Lizaks redshirt and Jake Short and Nick Wanzek never lived up to what we hoped. 2015 reminded me of the 2008 team that fell short due to mass injury

What is the crush on McKee? Everyone is living in the past with him at this point. He’s always been a guy in the 8-15 ranking range the past 5 years. What manipulates peoples minds is he is very good at refocusing on the backside of the bracket. Better than most everyone else. Go through his brackets and see that he rarely runs into those landmine guys. He has been injured obviously look at his left knee. He literally had nothing more to give whether it be lack of cardio, injury or IMO he has Had Enough Wrestling. His body is injured badly and he just can’t take much more punishment

The guys who generally hit it are the guys who wrestle 100+ matches a year since they were youth and didn’t play other sports in school. It’s a lot easier to hang on longer when you were multi sport athletes growing up

Thing is everyone is remember his Covid year and redo sophomore years in 2021 and 2022. He got 6th at big tens last year and lost rd of 16 to Dean Peterson last year. I am like most MN fans, we want to see it but it’s doubtful we do again.

This is the oldest that any McKee has been in college. Mitchell never redshirted and was appearing to have HEW at age 22. Patrick started to show similar at age 22-23 last season and has not wrestled well this year. I would of rather seen him at 133 this season.

McKee won’t win 5 matches in a row without having a sloppy match. Won’t happen

Agree 1000%, he will be yet another year 6 guy who is sick of the weight cut and long term effects on his body with the style he wrestles. I wish we had Spratley to be honest as they will have similar NCAA results finishing short of AA status. McKee has struggled on bottom the last year.
